Small but mighty. This is the best sushi in the Hillsboro/Beaverton area. Beautiful rolls. Flavor for days. Love it

Really delicious sushi options! Seating is a little tight at times, but that’s the only con that I can think of. Great food and great prices!

This place is so good!!! I love the KFC roll! The pick up/to go time can be a bit long but I can only imagine this is because they are so busy with dine in orders. Always friendly staff and the outside seating is a nice touch in the summer. Parking could be better but it’s always worth the hassle of finding a spot! Would recommend this place to everyone who loves good quality sushi.

This place had 4.5 stars so i thought id give it a try. Weak menu, weak sushi. I tried 3 different rolls and all three were underwhelming in flavor. All i could taste was rice. Very small, thin rolls with very thin slices of fish on the top. Their Sake selection was the highlight. I’ve had a lot better Sushi back home in Northern and Southern California Sushi Restaurants. I would not eat here again.

I jokingly referred to this place as «Yucky» when I first saw it. I didn’t know how prophetic that word would be.

Possibly I caught them on an off night but everything was fine but not much more. Ordered some hamachi sashimi and it was not cut well and did not taste fresh which is not unusual if not freshly delivered but serving size was less than expected with very thinly cut pieces. Also ordered a chicken entry and it was fine. Service was not great with two people on wait and only three other tables i had to wait a long time to order and then everyone disappeared when I wanted to get my check. Food however was delivered quickly and had nice prep so bad start and bad finish. The location, friendliness of staff, and ambience of Yuki is perfect and like I said maybe I caught them on an off night so I will return. The cost to value is average for Japanese sushi style restaurants and what I would expect for the location. Give them a try.

Happy to have this restaurant in my neighborhood. Reasonable prices, good sushi, good drink list. I will definitely be back!

I went here for dinner with my wife because I was looking for this style of food, and she agreed(surprisingly) and the good Unilocal reviews. I’m really not a fan of Miso soup, but I have to say, as it comes with the meal, what we got here was pretty darn good. The salad was ok as well, those Japanese dressings take a bit getting used to. My wife had the beef udon teriyaki dish. It was pretty awesome in my opinion, however, I’d prefer just a bit less on the vegetable and a touch more udon. I had the teriyaki chicken dinner which has a bit of everything on it. While it was good, everything was barely luke warm, while our other dish was piping hot. Sorry, mine should have been hot as well. Everything tasted really good, but I’m a stickler for temperature control and they missed it on this one. This place is in Orenco station and a really tiny place. I’d guess they can seat 40 people max. Seeing a few people come in with to go boxes, I’m guessing that’s what most people end up doing. I’m sure that I’ll be giving this place a try again in the future.

First of all, I would like to say that I would rate the actual food and service 4.5 stars based on my one visit. I’m disappointed though that, excited as I was to get delivery, apparently the delivery area ends 5 blocks before my house. It’s a pain in the ass to get there on the MAX. I hope they either put pressure on on Delivered Dish to expand their delivery area or find a different service to use.

Good Food– Always. The sidewalk is awesome when it is nice. A little cramped inside but well worth the drawbacks for the food. Service is usually good too. If your near Orenco we love Yuki’s — Sushi and Teriyaki equally good.

This place frustrated me. I don’t eat sushi, so I’m only speaking to the other offerings. I came here craving some chicken teriyaki after my usual place was unexpectedly closed. I looked online at their menu before coming to make sure they had chicken breast meat and it said they did for $ 2 extra. I got there and the menu had it crossed out with a Sharpie and I was told they had no white meat in the restaurant. So off the bat I wasn’t happy. I really dislike chicken thigh meat but I decided to try it. I also got my daughter the kids chicken yakisoba. The veggies they put in the yakisoba were a ton of peppers and onions… for kids! The other thing that frustrates me is that the thigh-meat teriyaki was $ 12(!) when normal places it’s about $ 7 – 8 for chicken breast. No offering of brown rice either. Just really disappointed and I’m still hungry $ 20 later.

Delicious and was looking to try it again tonight. We were seated and given menus. 15 minutes later we still hadn’t even been given water while people who arrived after us had miso, drinks on tables and their order taken. We left and won’t be back. Plenty of other places to try in the area.

Take out order. I called and asked what was in the seafood yasai itame. She tells me all kinds of seafood and scallops. Those tiny things on my spoon in the picture are scallops. About the size of my pinky finger… NAIL, my pinky fingernail! Actually like ½ the size of my pinky fingernail. Also the only seafood in it is salmon and maybe tuna? Like albacore tuna. This is NOT a SEAFOOD dish. $ 15.95. Maybe their other stuff is good… Hence the reviews? Not even one shrimp. Weird. Just weird!

Good food and good service. My best friend lives nearby so this is her go to Japanese restaurant. I was definitely satisfied and would go back again.

Stopped in to give the sushi a try. The presentation is beautiful, the taste, not so much. It’s not bad, but it’s not the best we’ve had. The environment was very nice, very clean, although small. Hearing the employees talk about their personal lives got old really fast, they should have an area for that. Next time we’ll be trying a different place. Overall, if you want some quick grub, stop in. If you want quality taste and to skip the employee chatter, try a different establishment.

I like this sushi place. I have this in my go to lunch places near work. I also take guests from work to this place and they love the sushi here. I have tried a couple of sushi here and the notable ones are the Oregonian, the beast, the spicy tuna, spicy salmon and the friend chicken. Overall the sushi is good but the service is a little slow.

Wife N and I have driven by Yuki Sushi probably a hundred times heading to various other establishments in Orenco Station. And each time, we reminded ourselves that one day we want to try Yuki Sushi, but we always seem to forget. Anyway, on this particular night, we were driving down Cornell, having that conversation that all couples have at one point or another: «Where do you want to go for dinner?» «I don’t know, Italian?» «No, not in a pasta mood, how about a brewpub?» «Nah, burger isn’t my thing right now, Thai?» «How about Cantonese… Indian…Moroccan…» [seemingly 17 miles later, approaches Orenco] «WAIT, HOWABOUTTHATYUKISUSHIPLACE!!!» Friday night, around 6:00pm, we stop into the little hole-in-the-wall known as Yuki Sushi. Now, I’m a big lover of all things Sushi and Izakaya. I’m just as happy to have a great Okonomiyaki or Chawanmushi as I am a nice piece of Otoro(okay, well, maybe I like the Otoro just a teeny bit better). Wife does not have the same adventurous palette and generally sticks with what Americans would call«normal» Japanese food: Tempura, Yakitori, Bento. I love Saké. She prefers Plum Wine. But thankfully, most Japanese restaurants have a wide enough variety that we can both find something we like. I decided to start with an order of Saba Nigiri(Mackerel). If you’ve read my other reviews, you know that I like Saba not just because of its intense flavor, but also because it is marinated with each individual chef’s special recipe, and presentation can vary, giving each chef the opportunity to put their unique twist into the presentation and flavor. Their Saba here did not disappoint. It was fresh(easy to tell, because Saba turns into«pickled herring» if it’s been sitting out 20 minutes too long) and had a unique(pleasant) flavor to the marinade. I ordered the Saba Shioyaki as my dinner plate, and Wife ordered a Bento box. I had a lovely import Saké and Wife N ordered their Plum wine. The Bento box was just okay. There really was nothing special about it. My Saba Shioyaki was honestly disappointing. It had very little flavor(not marinated long enough) and was not de-boned. Now, Saba isn’t like Salmon, where the bones just pop right out and they’re usually big. Saba has hundreds of little pin-bones and unless it’s been filleted and de-boned properly, you will get one in every bite, no matter how small the bite. This was one flavorless mouthful of bones after another. I have had Saba Shioyaki in many different places, including preparing it myself at home. For $ 14 at Yuki(it’s normally an $ 8 plate elsewhere) I expected way better. With the two glasses of wine, dinner and a tip, it came to around $ 60. Based upon the food we got, and the pricing, we can’t quite rate Yuki 3*s. We walked out of there just disappointed in the overall quality of the food for what we paid. If we had paid $ 30 instead of $ 60, this would have been a 3*+ review. But at these prices, we expect a lot more.

What a great spot for tasty and fresh sushi. HUGE fan of their seafood okonomiyaki… which is not commonly found in sushi joints. Service is excellent, staff is super friendly. Willing to give samples of saki if you are not sure that is the kind you want. I had the coconut and lemongrass… which was very tasty. Only minus is that parking is of the parallel kind(which I’m assuming folks in this area are not accustomed to, for I’ve seen a few mishaps).
