Cynthia Arnold is the only local professional I have found who truly understands autism. Her input and direction have been life-​changing for me and my autistic son. I recommend her without reservation to anyone who is living with autism, whether their own, their child’s, their partner’s.

I am a serious researcher when on the lookout for a good business or service and found this clinic online late one random night. I was looking for two of us– my son and I– and for different reasons. I wanted to confirm small issues my son was having were not signs of A.D.H.D., and I wanted to have some testing done for that myself, as well as find someone truly competent to talk to. I saw both Dr. Arnold for my son, and Dr. Friedrichs for myself and have been back several times since. They’ve both been really professional, approachable, honest and and thorough. As a very discerning patient who’s seen a few shrinks, therapists and and specialists over the years, I can confidently say they are clearly the best at what they do! I can’t recommend them enough and look forward to working with them as needed…

What I have found regarding this clinic and its practitioners is understanding, empathy, and acceptance. My clinician Dr. Michael Friedrich’s encourages and empowers his clients to face their issues, take control of their lives and carry on with the life they were meant to live, not the one they felt they were stuck in.
Two thumbs up – think of these folks as personal trainers of the mind. The work out might kick your ass, but damn you feel better once your done.

I just happened to pick this clinic from a list of insurance covered providers when I began having difficulties. I am glad I did. I have had outstanding results working with Dr Micheal Friedrichs who helped me change my life. He and Dr Cynthia Arnold are both experienced and caring doctors. They were great about not pushing medication and instead, helping me find ways to improve my life, benefiting me and my family. I highly recommend both of them.

Several years ago, I was strugging to make sense of some personal issues in life, including a relationship that ended poorly. I can say that the time I spent working with Drs. Michael and Cynthia were a HUGE factor in helping me learn more about myself, believing in my good traits and finding areas I could improve upon.
I’ve discovered that typical things we employ (self-​help books, talking to friends, etc.) sometimes have their limits. I only wished I would have seen these limits sooner and have taken advantage of the experience that New Leaves Clinic provides.
I’ve walked away with excellent tools: ones that I still use to this day in the course of trying to be a good person…
