Hillsboro American Tire

Went there for brakes, and to get tires for my truck. Great customer service, Great Prices, the quality of work exceeded my expectations. Had taken it previously to Les Schwab, twice in the last 6 months, for the same brakes only to have them improperly installed and go bad. This place came highly recommended by several people. So glad I went. Will take my other vehicles there for sure.

I rarely write reviews but It was not fare not to write a review for this place, I was in an accident about 1.5 years ago. My insurance company took care of the cost, but two month after the accident I realized that I have negative camber angle related to the accident when I did an alignment. The alignment shop owner told me that he has to order a part for me but he did not find the part. I took my car to ford dealership to double check the issue thinking that the dealership can take care of the part, but they told me that nothing was wrong and that they fixed the alignment issue. They charged me 150 $ for the alignment and I thought that the issue was fixed. I moved to Hillsboro from Los Angeles about 6 month ago for pharmacy school. After a while I noticed a very uneven wear on the driver side tire (the outer side was completely worn). This proved to me that ford service center either lied to me or they were not able to identify the problem (Although I told them about my accident). Anyhow I bought 4 new tires and I searched for an alignment shop so I could install my tire as well as identifying the problem. The owner is a very nice guy. They installed my tires very fast and performed an alignment. Then the owner took me to the alignment machine and told me about the negative camber. He told me that I have to go to a body shop and he suggested a body shop for me. I was expecting to pay nearly 200 $ as most tire shops charge $ 15+ installation fee for each tire and about $ 100 for alignment. To my surprise I was only charged $ 80 for 4 tire installations + alignment. Their honesty and professionalism has bought them one more loyal customer. I highly recommend American Tire Pros. It is very nice to have a mechanic you can trust.

John provides amazing customer service (always answers the phone, answers questions, rode around in my car with me so I could better explain what I was hearing was wrong), offers low prices, and high quality car care. Needed Tires TODAY, great customer service, helped me find tires for my need (they had used and new tires), gave me the best deal compared to 3 other places and had them installed same day. Will come back and recommend, love the local vibe and friendly service.

Excellence in customer service and the lowest prices in Washington County. Many used car dealers use them as they are priced lower then dealers. The owner John is involved with daily day to day customer interactions and is very sincere and nice. This shop is a well oiled smooth operation interested in total satisfaction. Well worth the trip and a great deal.

I needed new tires and needed them right away. Someone recommended this place and it was on the way home so I stopped in. I was expecting to pay at least $ 250 a tire for the size tires I have. I was shocked when I was quoted $ 480 for all 4. To make it better I was back in my car in 20 minutes. I highly recommend you come here for your tires.

The true measure of success is how well you treat your customers. This place is crazy busy, but you can expect family member like service. I feel confident you get the best price you will find anywhere.

If you need tires, go here. John and his team will literally RUN to make sure that you are happy with their work. They have impressed me time and time again with their prompt service, and John, the owner is friends with literally everyone who walks in his door.
Don’t waste your time with other tire shops, this is where I will go every single time I need tires for the rest of my life here in Hillsboro.

Two women stranded with a broken starter. He had us up and running within 2 hours, $ 250, John is super nice. I just felt like hugging him, I don’t know what. He kind of reminded me of my Papa, just an all around good guy.
We moved here from Southern California where we were secure with my Papa and a family friend, Joe who could help diagnose and fix our cars. Plus a mechanic who was trusted and super cheap.
A friend directed us to John and I would strongly recommend his shop to any and everyone. Our 2006 Honda CR-​V just hit 200,000 miles and this is the first repair absolutely needed. We gave him a list of a few other things and he will look into it for us. GREAT SHOP! GREAT WORKERS! GREAT OWNER!
