Specialties
I am a litigation lawyer. I am admitted and actually practice in Oregon (2005) primarily, but I have also am admitted in Washington (2007) and California (1970) where I have tried cases in the last two years.
I am very good at complex fact situations. Many have involved family members and large estates. Some cases have had at their core the estate’s minority shareholder interest in a closed corporation where the majority shareholders have refused to purchase the estate’s interest.
I don’t draft wills, trusts or plan estates. I am usually brought into a probate or trust distribution when the executor, administrator or trustee refuses to perform his/her duties according to the governing instrument or the state law.

Established in 1972.
After working at the Orange County California District Attorneys office for two years, I started my practice in Orange, California. My wife, Jan Anderson, joined the firm in 1986 and daughter Amy Anderson in 1990. Jan and Amy are primarily probate attorneys and I assist them in litigated matters. Jan and I moved to Oregon in 2006 but still maintain an active practice in Orange County California.
