History

Established in 2006.

Founded in 2006 by owner Angela Bentley Canine Life Skills St. Louis Dog Training began offering private training lessons to the greater St. Louis area. In 2008 Canine Life Skills began offering Board & Train dog training programs. In 2009 we opened our indoor heated training facility in Hillsboro, Mo to bring more variety of classes to the area.

Business Owner

Trainer Angela Bentley completed Veterinary assistant training at the College of Southern Maryland is 2003 and spent three years as kennel manager and board member for the Humane Society of Calvert County in Maryland. As a four year volunteer she gained extensive hands on knowledge of different breeds, sizes, and temperments of dogs. In 2005 she graduated Animal Behavioral College and in 2008 completed a three week E-​collars trainers course at That’s My Dog e-​cademy in Hazel Green WI. Angela continues her education through seminars and continued ready and dvd’s. Presently she is a volunteer and board member with the Coalition for Animal Rescue and Education and fosters dogs needing training before placement in their new homes.
