I have been here several times. The food is great and normally the service is decent but today was another story. We sat for over ten minutes before finally walking to the bar for menus. Got drinks but refills were a totally different story. One person behind the bar meant no service for us in the restaurant. I’m hoping this was just an off day because I normally love this place. One more trip like this and I won’t be back. We had to return to the bar to ask for a check and that took another 14 minutes! Not a happy camper!

I didn’t get any food, but I hear the pizza is pretty good. They have a limited beer selection, but the prices are pretty cheap(except on GL Xmas Ale). So, this is a good place to go to catch a game and drink cheap beer with your friends.

Stopped in for a beer and the bartender was just plain rude. It took her 5 minutes to even look over at us… They were NOT busy. We felt so uncomfortable we left. I would not go back. Seems like a nice little local place but if you’re not a regular you might as well stay home.

Great food(pizza, burgers, subs, salads & sandwiches), atmosphere & best value in town on beverages ;-) As other reviewers already pointed out the lunch specials are yummy & inexpensive. They have all the big games on many screens around the bar area and are very accommodating switching the channel for special requests. Summer game day bucket specials are also a great deal.

I wish I could leave a better review. Soooo, I get no change back? Had 2 drinks & the bar tender kept the change each time. Use credit, you can control your tip. Decent prices, nice locale.

We live 5 minutes from here and it was our first time. We had been to dinner and wanted to stop somewhere for a drink before returning home on Sat. night. There was no one on the patio, but the flat-screen had the U.S. Open so we knew we wanted to sit there. We went in and asked the lady behind the bar about sitting at a table outside and she said sure, I’ll bring your drinks out. My husband ordered a beer and I asked if she could make a Lemondrop Martini. She said she loves them and seemed a little unsure about making one, but would try. She actually did a very good job, as it was a tasty drink. I nursed it and my husband had a second beer while we watched the tournament. There were more people on the patio when we arrived. This is a nice little place and we’ll come back.

Mac A Doos is the center of a little empire near Roberts and Walcutt in Hilliard. It consists of a drive-thru and a little sports bar with a patio, parking in the rear! But its a nice little empire, for sure! We overwhelmed them on Saturday night for a friends b-day and had a great time. Cheap prices, friendly staff, good pizza and food=good time. Turns out there were at least two other birthdays that night at the bar and people were in rare form. Don’t fret, these were nice Hillard folks, definitely a local hangout. Overall, it was clean, friendly, just dive-y enough to fit in in with the local Hilliard crowd(me in included). Don’t be afraid, check it out!

Mac A Doo’s is a great neighborhood bar that happens to be attached to a well stocked beverage drive through. The pepperoni pizza is great with a thin crispy crust, and if you call ahead you can pick up at the drive through. The beer is cheap and can be purchased in buckets or pitchers. My friends and I go there to rock the juke box and play darts but they also have parties for all the OSU games.

Mac A Doos is a drive thru, as well as a small bar & grille located near Roberts Road in Hilliard. It’s a small business, but seems to do quite well as it’s been there seemingly forever. The drive thru is fully stocked with all kinds of beverages including soda, beers, and sports drinks. They also have various kinds of snacks. You pay a premium for the service, but if you need something quick, it’s the way to go. The bar is small(holding maybe 50 people.) There are a couple of TVs, a jukebox, darts, and even Keno. There are about a dozen tables to sit at. There is also a heated room for smoking, if you need it. Finally there is also a patio area for warmer weather. They serve a variety of beers and liquors. What I really liked were the prices… dirt cheap!!! It felt like happy hour prices even though we were there at 10:00 on a Saturday night. Bottled beers were $ 2 and a large cocktail(equivalent to 2 cocktails at most bars) were only $ 5. Best prices I’ve seen at a bar in a l-o-n-g time. Mac A Doos has a small menu which includes pizza, subs, and typical bar food. We ordered two 8″ pizzas(for $ 5 a piece) which were tasty. The owner brought them out and checked on us several times to be sure we liked them. They were good, especially for the price. Mac A Doos is far from what I would call a «partying» bar as the clientele is older and more laid back. Large parties would be hard to fit in as well. However, for a relatively quiet place with great prices, it’s hard to beat.

Mac-a-Doos is a great place to visit and to have some GOOD Pizza & wings. It has the Pub feeling, but it doesn’t have anything to do with an Irish theme bar what so ever. They do have a drive through that’s always nice. The employees for the most part are nice and actually talk to you. The people that go there are polite and you don’t have to worry about fights at all. This is a great place I most def. will be back, since I frequently visit this place anyway.
