Went back a couple years later to give things a try– actually twice within a week! Perhaps it was my specific server here, but I throughly enjoyed the attention to us as well as the food.

Family dinner Friday, 10÷31÷14… Very simple orders. everyone familiar with menu… distracted(?), uninterested server, who managed to screw up every order, including not entering the easiest one, which NEVER came 15″ after everyone else had their food… No excuse for incompetant servers, including«can I box it up for you?» by the manager on duty… we live in SW Ohio and are not used to this level of incompetency… very difficult to give this restaurant one star as required…

I have been to Bob Evans a few times in other cities and wasn’t impressed. Based on that I have avoided Bob Evans since. I am in Columbus on business and a Co worker wanted to try it and begrudgingly I went along. I was happy I did. Tonight makes my second visit to this location. The service has been great and the food has been as well.

It’s upsetting how bad the quality and apparently quantity has gown down yet tthe prices continue to go up. This is a pretty poor example of burnt small pieces of bacon

First visit 2 weeks ago was horrible, which I contacted corporate about without hearing back. After 40 minutes from ordering to us walking out. 2nd visit food was slow, 30 minutes from ordering, not entirely horrible, but the food on the other hand was. There was no flavor(chicken fried steak & eggs). Manager seemed annoyed that I complained, and seemed even more annoyed I had a coupon. Contacted corporate again, but I doubt I will hear back.

Yes, its very rare that I give 5 stars to a chain, but this place simply does everything right. Killer breakfast that you can get all day by someone who knows how to cook an egg over easy. High quality food prepared/cooked right with great service in a clean and comfortable environment nails it. Add the great value being reasonably priced, and you have a winner. Believe it or not, they even have a killer burger.

Hot food, hot. Cold food, cold. Clean. Warm. The 3-course meal for $ 10 deal was a good bargain. Let me substitute broccoli for fries. Thank you BE. Nancy was my server — excellent work service. Attentive without hovering. Anticipated my needs.

This Bob’s has had notoriously bad service for years, which is a shame as I’m generally nostalgic about it. I got excited on Sunday because their app let me order completely online and said if I just pulled up and called they would bring it to the car. Since I had a sick and cranky 2 year old with me, that sealed the deal. I arrived at the correct time, called and they said they’d be right out. Fifteen minutes later I’m still sitting there. It wasn’t even that busy, half full parking lot. I get the 2 year old out of his car seat and go in. Three hostesses at the stand talking to each other — no one behind the service counter and 3 customers waiting. Wee. Finally another comes out, and when it comes to my turn, I remind them I was the one who arrived 20 min ago(by then). Not even an apology. Just a «oh, it wasn’t ready yet when you got here.» But where was it? Sitting on a shelf behind her. Then I start looking through the bag and she says«oh, I need to get biscuits» and proceeds to THROW the container in the bag. I kid you not. It of course opens and puts crumbs everywhere. At that point she at least managed to look sheepish, but STILLNOAPOLOGY. At this point I’m so stunned and angry I can’t even speak. I just pick up my son and leave. When we arrived home(maybe a mile away) the food was stone cold and they had shorted the home fries from my son’s meal. Which is his favorite part. Nice. Next time Bob’s Mgmt, skip the renovation and retrain your customer service staff.

Had lunch here with a friend and our kids right at noon on a Wednesday. Our waitress was very, very slow. She wasn’t apologetic about it, either. She was however, polite. The food was alright, not bad, not fantastic. The prices were very good. Especially for the kids. All the kids’ meals are below $ 2.99. That’s great for me because I have three kids under the age of 12. These restaurants are every where out here so perhaps I’ll find another that has better service.

I enjoy it, especially their homefries. I craved it while pregnant. We always get something different when we go in, my parents even went and enjoyed it when they came up. The servers are always nice there’s been once or twice we’ve gone at very busy times so our glasses weren’t always filled but that happens. They are all around a decent place and I would go back.

I’m a fan of Bob Evans. No doubt about that. I enjoyed lunch with my Mom today at this particular BE and lets just say that this place was a-hoppin’! Given that it was the lunch hour, this place was busy! I know today is the day before Thanksgiving, so we were assured that there were locals in there as well as folks driving out of town too. The food was good. I was only in the mood for a small meal, nothing to where it would give me that heavy stomach feeling, so I chose the savor size of the Wildfire Chicken Salad with banana nut bread. My Mom had the Western Omelet with home fries. When the waitress brought out her place, the home fries looked like they were well done and very crispy. The waitress quickly responded that they looked too crispy/dark. She brought a new plate of home fries, which were much better than the first plate. My food was very good. No complaints there. The only thing I didnt like was that I went back to work with a cup of their french vanilla cappucino. Um, this tasted exactly like the powdery cappucino you get at Speedway. One word: NAS-TY!!! The sad thing is that it cost us $ 2.99 for the cup. BLECH!!! Anywho … I still love you Bob Evans … will come back and visit you soon!

Typical Bob Evans, we tend to frquent this one more often then most. Go there for breakfast after our free Saturday morning bootcamps. Had one of their new biscuit bowls, the spinach bacon one. It was smothered with cheese and eggs and was delicious More calories then I’d care to know, but that’s what a cheat meal is for. Service was actually more attentive then usual, so props to our waitress.
