Michael’s For Hair

I have never had such a bad experience at a salon. I was seated by an old blonde woman. She has no experience or etiquette. She dropped water all over me while washing my hair. She started to blow dry my hair and while doing so she burnt my neck. I was like ouch and she did not stop to apologize. I then said maybe using a different brush will work better. She did not apologize and instead stopped blow drying my hair. She was extremely rude and said you can find another place. There are many other great places — don’t go here !! They suck ! Try the spa at old Edwards inn ! This place will eventually go out of business. I wish I could give them negative stars.

I had a great experience. I don’t know what got across Nigel who did a prior review but mine was very pleasant. I too am a male and I went to Gail and she did great job. I watched Michael working on others and he was really good too. I am going again this week…

Absolute WORST place I’ve ever gone to get my hair cut.
I’m from out of town, but I’m in Highlands for the summer, so I needed a trim. Keep in mind that I am a male. The guy cutting my hair, doesn’t even spend fifteen minutes before he hands me the comb and he’s like, «Tell me what you think.» I respond, «Well, I wanted it shorter… like all over.» 10 minutes later I have this HUGE volumized cut, and I just wanna get out of there.
He’ goes to check me out and he says, «$ 35» For maybe 30 minutes of work?! I said hell no. And he charged me $ 20 and I was OUTTA there.
Save yourself. Find a different hairdresser.
Edit 7÷28÷2013: Just wanted to add that I was accosted by Gale in my own place of business for leaving this review a year later. The hairdresser I had was Jerry, and she told me that I made a review for Michael. As you can see above, I mentioned no specific hairdresser by name. It’s a business owner’s job to make sure that their employees properly reflect the brand. So instead of taking an appropriate customer service route, like offering me another chance at a haircut for a discounted price, Gale told me my review was «incorrect and not very nice». Well, I’m sorry, but I wasn’t treated very «nice», so I didn’t leave a «nice» review.
