Ultimate Cleaners

I cannot say enough nice things about these folks. I started using ultimate cleaners about 8 years ago and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. It is a little out of the way for me since I live in Lone Tree but they are so friendly each time I go in it is always a pleasure. I have taken clothes, a down comforter and drapes to be hemmed and pressed. Each transaction has been great and I feel they are reasonably priced. And as a bonus, they always offer to take my things out to my car for me, even if it’s just one item. Very glad I
found them.

Just used Ultimate Cleaners for the first time this week. This is actually an ‘inverted expectation’ as I had initially expected a less than stellar job (I will explain monetarily), but must say I was pleasantly surprised. I had brought in a single silk blouse, festooned in perspiration stains (you know, the really fabulous pale yellow ones in the collar and armpit area). Anyway I had greeted the lady that approached the front, not having waited long at all. She immediately shakes her head and says it would not come out, not the least hint of optimism. Not «Well, we’ll see.» Or «We can try but just to let you know…» It may have also been a language barrier thing, I surmise she was not the most fluid with English. I know it’s not always a sure thing with ‘dry-​clean only’ silk, but I’ve had success in the past with other cleaners’ attempts at removing these types of stains. Otherwise one must concoct some mixture to spot clean the area made of crushed aspirin, hydrogen peroxide and ammonia (I know, crazy huh.) Well, I had almost left. Even if she was somehow wrong or underestimated her cleaner’s own skills, I didn’t get that warm n’ fuzzy feeling of someone who genuinely wanted the job/​business. There are other cleaners nearby, I have no issue with the other posters noting conventional cleaning materials or methods– for now anyway. I went ahead and left it, said to «just do your best,» and was told it would be ready in a few days. Well, I just picked it up and from merely glancing through the plastic hanger bag it looks pretty awesome. As I said, it wasn’t a convincing first impression, I think this business (or at least the register) would benefit from being a bit more receptive-​hence the missing star; but otherwise I think the accidental additional yellow paisley on my blouse was removed beautifully.

I called the store ahead of time to see what it would be per item since I had numerous items I needed cleaned. I told them that I had 5 cashmere sweaters and three dresses. I was quoted 2.99 per sweater and 4.99 we dress. That should have been about $ 30. Instead, they charged me $ 8.50 per dress and 5.95 per sweater. So it was $ 55.25 plus a $ 2.21 «ENV charge», no idea what that’s for but it brought my bill to $ 57.46 instead of $ 32.13. That’s a difference of $ 25.33. So either their employee I spoke with its incompetent, or they lied to me. Absolutely never going back there.

They ruined my comforter. I Asked to have it dry cleaned because of the bright colors. They washed it and the colors faded. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Three words: «fan» «tas» «tic.» Always friendly. Always accommodating. Very very reasonable prices. Are they disconcertingly cheap like the Continental Cleaners on County Line? Nope. But they don’t ruin clothes and they wont break the bank like everywhere else in the area. They’re also mature and professional adults. Repairs and 24 hour drop off service.

These guys are awesome! I used to always get sick from other dry cleaners because of the chemicals but Kevin and Young (owners) use only nontoxic materials. It always feels so fresh and clean!
They’re the number one dry cleaners in the HR area. If you want chemicals and bad customer service, this isn’t the place for you. They always carry my garments to my car no matter how much I have.
You’ll regret going elsewhere. They really are the best!
