Hilton Garden Inn Denver/Highlands Ranch

this place is kinda like a pig in lipstick.
while there may be traces of contemporary décor and modern pieces of furniture. you cannot hide the overall feeling that underneath the «lipstick,» this place seems on the shabby and outdated side. as if they underwent an upgrade but didn’t quite take it all the way. there are little details about this hotel that quickly diminish any thought that you are staying somewhere amazing (i.e.; lack of air conditioning in certain pockets and hallways, a creepy crawly traipsing through the bathroom, no midnight room service– these sorts of things).
stayed in a suite on a friday night. and while our stay was «okay,» it was not «wow» worthy. the soap was lovely though.

Stayed here while in town for a wedding recently. Have to say this place is questionable. While it looked okay from the outside and the lobby, the rooms are barely decent. The beds are hard as a rock and am still undecided if I convinced myself the room was clean. It’s one of those places where you know the maid came but you just feel like there’s more to do. I cringed every time I looked at the carpet — who knows what that thing was hiding. This place could use some serious updating. The walls are paper thin, so expect to hear everything going on around you. Net/​net the rooms are embarrassing for the Hilton brand. Fortunately for them there’s not a lot of choice in this area, so if you must you will survive. Although I didn’t feel the room met the standards for Hilton, I will say the location felt safe and the staff was friendly. Doubtful I’d stay again. I’d venture to drive further to my destination than go back to this hotel.

We sat and watched as one waitress and one cook did all of the room service and dining orders. The front desk people were rude upon our arrival and did not offer to help the food service staff, ridiculous. No team work. The waitress, Gloria was so positive and worked really hard to keep up. Wonder who the manger is?

This is our go-​to hotel when we’re in town for work. It’s super close to the office which we love. The breakfast staff is attentive and quick. The food is good. Not great but it’s hotel food so I don’t except 5 star. The fitness center is nice. The equipment works well — had some issues with the TV but thats probably just me.
My room was clean. No issues. Bed is super comfy!
I smelled something. interesting. in the hallway but I expected that in Colorado.
This is a business hotel — more professional people than families. I would suggest this hotel for work people… not familes, but I did see some there.

Top notch! This hotel goes above and beyond. If there is an issue they will correct it IMMEDIATELY. Ann manages this location and takes pride in the quality of the service. This is my preferred location in Denver.

Nice place to stay. Rooms are nice, with the exception of the bathroom (at least the one I had). The bathroom is in need of some updates. Tub didn’t drain and water pressure was very low. That is my only real complaint.

Everything was great from check in to check out staff very helpful and pleasant. Very clean and quiet even on a full spring break weekend.

Just got back from this place and it was a lovely place to stay. They were in the middle of renovations but it was not in the way at all. The room was clean and cozy, although the bed a little hard for my taste. However, the staff was awesome! I was traveling alone and had the pleasure of getting to chat with the evening staff on my first night. They really made me feel like a friend. The price was great and the shuttle was very helpful in getting to the wedding safely during the snow. Would definitely go back.

Wasn’t too sure about the place when I got in. I think a big wedding had just taken place the night before — things looked a bit disheveled. Well I got in my room and it was clean as could be and everything else looked up from there. The staff was very helpful. Rooms extremely clean. Ate dinner one night at the in-​house restaurant and it was very good — order the salmon with bok choy so delicious. Gym was ehhh — not enough equipment and pool is tiny. Probably the only detractors.

Terrible hotel! They didn’t have our room ready for us at check in. They didn’t have rooms available for anyone else who was checking in around the same time, which was after check in time. Next we found out that only one of the two elevators was in working order, and while attempting to take the stairwell, discovered it smelled like something died in it.
My tipping point was the next morning. After taking our initial load of luggage down to the car, we had returned to find house keeping already tossing our room and we hadn’t even checked out yet. Better yet, the housekeeping lady tried to hand me my Starbucks out of the trash can after she had thrown it away. Talk about a welcoming environment. Ill be avoiding this hotel in the future.

Bed was very hard and children were running up and down the hall playing soccer in the hall outside my room all of the time which was distracting while I was working on a project.

On a recent visit to Colorad for a friends wedding, this was the hotel she picked for everyone to stay at. For around $ 80, what I was expecting, was not even close to what I got.
I really was expecting a place, where you take a shower and you still feel dirty. A place with stains on the sheets and the floor. Funny smells and bug. Well, well, well. I was completely wrong with my expectations. The entire hotel was spotless. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and so were the rooms. I didn’t once question the cleanliness of the room.
The hotel has an indoor heated pool, hot tub, fitness center, restaurant, bar, and a small store that sells beer. I felt very confortable for the entire stay. At around $ 80 a night, this hotel is a steal.

Great hotel. Good weekend rates. Not the best bar and not within walking distance of anything. Check out the No No café.

The breakfast was a bit costly since I’m not used to eating a huge buffet. I would have preferred the option of ordering just a bowl of cereal and coffee instead of only being offered the buffet or nothing. The «general store» was a little strange and hidden.
The room was fine and I liked the Europe-​style comforters.

Not the best HGI, but ok, with the usual amenities and good business location.

Horrible cancellation policy. Prepaid a room for an out of town job candidate and when the person’s flight was cancelled due to weather they made me jump through too many hoops. Had to call the 800 number and they would not cancel the day of the reservation without documentation that the flight was cancelled. Told me I had a special rate due to prepay as well but instead looks to me like the highest rate they charge. WE will no longer use this hotel. Their loss. A little service goes a long way Hilton.

The digs were pretty sweet and they never came by to tell us to keep the party down so overall the visit went ok. The reason I only dish out the 3 stars is because we had to cram too many people into too few beds due to them messing up our reservation.
We had asked for two king size beds and a cot, which they said they could provide no problem. When we showed up to check in late at night they said they had to give our room away, and that all they had was a single queen and one cot. Granted we argued the bill down to practically nothing and it wasn’t the first time I had slept in a room with that many people, it was just inconvenient. I still would recommend the place, just don’t take any crap from them!

The Hilton Garden Inn provides everything a business traveler is looking for in a suburban location: a comfortable, well furnished room; a restaurant that serves breakfast, dinner, and evening drinks; a fridge and microwave for convenience; a gym and pool; and free wifi. People who’ve stayed at an HGI anywhere know that these are standards of the brand.
The HGI is a relatively new hotel, so everything was modern and in good condition. My standard room covered my needs and offered a dramatic view of the Front Range to the west.
The in-​house restaurant was handy for breakfast, when I was primarily interested in getting some fresh food quickly, but I found the menu too limiting for dinner. Fortunately there are a few shopping centers within a 1 mile radius offering a number of restaurant choices.

This is a new Hilton Garden Inn in the Highlands Ranch business park right besides the big Lucent building. The good thing is that everything looks new here. Every room comes with a 21″ flat panel TV!!! The hotel comes with indoor fitness center and indoor pool. Breakfast buffet only $ 6 which serves a lot of fresh fruits. The hotel service is great too. I like this hotel very much! Highly Recommended!
