History

Established in 1999.

Two long time friends ran into each other at a their highschool reunion and talked about their jobs and plans for the future. One had a business backround and was working for a large corporation and the other had a carpet cleaning backround and was working for a national carpet cleaning franchise. Both had a similar goal and that was to run their own business. So, in 1999, Ambrose & Company opened it’s doors. The company quickly grew through customer referrals so a second cleaning technician was added and the business expanded into new carpet sales and installation. The two original cleaning technicians are still are part of the Ambrose team as well as the installation crew that began working with the company in 2003.

Ambrose Carpets did an incredible job getting stains out of our rental home carpet. The carpet looks NEW! They saved us from having to replace the carpet. BJ and Claire provided excellent customer service & were so nice & quite helpful when trying to determine if I should replace or clean. Linus is their MASTER CARPET CLEANER; he can work wonders! The owner, BJ, is fantastic. He helped me find the right combination of products to re-​floor our entire house (1400 sq ft) on a strict budget. When the estimate for my original selections came in over budget, BJ recommended a slight less expensive but equally as nice looking alternative. The installers came out to measure the house, and within a week, we had all new flooring throughout. Installers were quick, courteous and clean. And at the end of the day, the price paid was equal to the last estimate.
Highly recommend Ambrose Carpets for your next flooring project. You will not be disappointed.

We had a water leak AND a pet disaster in the same week. I called Ambrose carpets and they were out QUICKLY. Linus immediately did what needed to be done– mold treatment, carpet pad replacement. He even worked until 7 pm before Memorial Day weekend. The stains are gone! It’s perfect! Top notch

Today Brad did our carpets and I could not be happier with the results. He explained the process thoroughly prior to starting and answered all my questions. He was very professional and did a superb job. He is the kind of person you could leave alone in your home with no worries.

Ambrose Carpets is the best! They are masters at cleaning carpet and also can help you find the perfect new carpet for your home. I have had Brad and Linus clean for me and they both do an exceptional job. They get stains out that no one else can, make my carpets look new and are professional guys you can trust in your home. For new carpet, Clare and BJ helped me find the right carpet for my basement. I wasn’t aware that these guys sold and installed carpet so I started out at the big box stores and was given the run around. I noticed online that Ambrose sold carpets so I called them and the process was so easy… they brought samples to my house, Clare helped me pick the color and their installers were great. The best part was that I had complete trust in Ambrose and knew they were steering me in the right direction. It also felt good knowing I was supporting a local business.

I have used Ambrose Carpets to clean my carpets for a few years and finally it was time to replace my 13 year old carpet. Since I had such a great experience with them cleaning my carpet I wanted to give them a chance to replace it. Clare is so great to work with and BJ came to my office with several samples that he let me take home to show the family. They were both very knowledgeable about everything and explained about warranties, stain blocker, material, length and color. Once I finally made my decision the scheduling and install went very quickly. They were at my home at the exact time they said they would be and install was super fast. The moved all my furniture for me and put it back exactly the way it was and were very careful. They were also very careful with my baseboards and had no scratches whatsoever. I could tell the installers took pride in doing an excellent job! They did a great job cleaning up and walked the house with me to show me where they had carefully placed the seams out of the high traffic areas. I was very satisfied with the entire process and couldn’t be happier with my carpet. I would definitely recommend Ambrose and will be using them for all my carpet needs!

I have worked with Ambrose Carpets for a couple years now as a business owner. Clare is very easy to deal with and she takes customer service very seriously. I know that if there ever was any issue, she would have it resolved as soon as possible. I’ve seen the quality of her technicians work and they are very professional. Ambrose Carpets are the only people I use for all of my carpet needs. I found them years ago through a recommendation for carpet cleaning from a neighbor.
I had my carpets professionally cleaned many times before because I have kids and a dog but was never completely satisfied. When Ambrose cleaned, I could not believe how good my carpets looked (like new) and how they could get stains out that no other carpet cleaner got out. Not only did they do a good job but the guys who cleaned were very nice and extremely professional.
We recently moved into a new home that needed new carpet so I called Ambrose Carpets to give me an estimate. Wow! BJ and Clare made it so easy and were so helpful. They are both so knowledgeable about carpet and Clare can really help you find just the right color and style for your home. I was also really impressed with the installation. The installers were very professional, did an amazing job and were nice guys.
I’ve referred this company to many of my neighbors and friends and have heard nothing but good feedback! Ambrose Carpets… you get 5 stars from me!

Clare and BJ reinstalled new carpet in our house. It was a large space and we had a tight budget, but they made it work. They went above and beyond with their friendly service before, during, and after the reinstallation process. At times I needed some «hand holding» with some of the design aspects, but Clare and BJ were right there to assist me every step of the way.
The results are outstanding! We will definitely use Ambrose Carpets in the future for all our installation and carpet cleaning needs.

I“ve been using Ambrose for carpet and furniture cleaning and for carpet installation for more than a dozen years. They are exceptionally friendly, competent and trustworthy. And, they are very reasonably priced. Clare and BJ know this business inside and out and can give valuable suggestions and ideas. They are on top of style and design.
Linus is just the best carpet cleaner and he is thorough and careful. He is a gem of a person, so he is very enjoyable to be around and he really cares about your furniture and carpet. He is careful and diligent in his cleaning.
