Nelson’s Towing & Plowing

While I’m sure this company is a great one overall, I’m reviewing one of their employees directly because his service impressed me enough to create a Unilocal account to acknowledge it!
Today, roughly around 9:30 pm, after AAA screwed with us for 4 ½ hours while we were in the side of a tollway with our one year old son, Ariel from Nelson’s Towing came to our rescue. Not only did he make sense of all the nonsense AAA tried to communicate towards him (which was still incorrect after 4 ½ hours), he stayed in contact with me to reassure our family that he was still coming for us, no matter how little sense AAA was making to either of us.
He also showed up faster than any towing service I have ever used, even after canal long to apologize that he needed to make a stop to refuel, he still made his 20 – 30 minute estimation time. Anybody who has ever needed a tow knows that 20 – 30 minutes is a very short wait.
Getting to our car was a complicated issue, but through some skilled driving (which he impressed us with later maneuvering our car into the tight alley behind our apartment) he swiftly

Ditched my work van on a patch of black ice. Called AAA, these guys came out. Bruce and Johnny were the operators.
I was told 90 mins, they were there a but before that.
They were professional and fast when it came to hooking me up.
The whole ordeal took maybe 15 minutes which is quite reasonable considering the steep slope of the ditch.
Considering that they had to face North on a southbound lane, they made it as safe as possible by having hazards and the overhead lights going.
The final total was $ 0 because I used AAA and paperwork was minimal. Just a signature actually.
I had a good experience with them, solid tow place.
