This performance-​based Christian Dance Company is home of the 5 touring companies, including Youth Ballet Theatre. In business for more than 15 years, award-​winning Modern Messages stresses excellent technique, age-​appropriate music selection, community performances and modesty in dance.

Positive secular and Christian music selections are used in recreational through pre-​professional classes for both girls and boys in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern and tumbling.

Zumba, ballroom dance and strength training is also offered for adults.

History

Established in 1998.

The business was started by Hollie Bottiglia, and is now directed by Hollie and Roland Bottiglia and their team. Modern Messages in anchored by multiple productions each year, the largest being «Christmas, the production» each December, where the nativity is brought to life through the beauty and energy of dance. Each Spring, a ballet production is presented on the home stage in Milford as well as toured through the community. Past shows have included Little Red Riding Hood, The Ugly Duckling, Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. Summer ballet and jazz intensives are held each summer. Five touring dance teams perform at various venues throughout the touring year, bring strong tap, jazz and lyrical technique to the stage.
