History
Established in 1983.
In 1983 Freedom Work Opportunities was founded to provide vocational training to adults with developmental disabilities. We started off with a crew of 6 people and a staff who maintained the lawns of area group homes. This grew into FWO making quality wood furniture for many of these homes. Through the years our services grew to include assembling auto parts and providing lawn maintenance to residents and businesses. Today FWO helps nearly 200 adults with developmental disabilities learn job skills and earn an income.
