Hello, I’m Mark Ortiz. The owner and operator of Collins Heating & Cooling. I began my HVAC career in the late 90’s. I graduated from Ivy Tech State College with a degree in Associates of applied science in industrial technology in 2001. In 2005 my son Collin was born and that’s when I decided I wanted to open my own company and run a family business. As you can guess, I named my company after my son, Collin.

I have built my business upon providing quality, honest, reliable service to the local residents and businesses throughout north west Indiana. I graduated from Ivy Tech State College with a degree of Associates of applied science in industrial technology in 2001. I worked hard with another HVAC company until 2005 when my son Collin was born. I decided then that I wanted to open my own company and run a family business. As you can guess, I named the company after my son, Collin.

Since this time I have built my business upon providing quality, honest, reliable service to the local residents and business throughout north west Indiana, especially my home town of Highland. Running a local company has given me the opportunity to interact with my customers on a more personal level.
