We saw their truck in the neighborhood probably for another poor family who has an unwanted guest. We needed a skunk removed from under our deck.
They came out and gave us their pricing and when to notify them when something is caught in the traps. There was a misunderstanding in the beginning where I missed them saying that I HAD to call every day by 8am giving them the status of the traps. One or two days I called and left a message with the status, they called me saying I didn’t do it and that she was the only person there and would have received the call. I know I had just left a message 10 minutes earlier.
One trap did catch something one morning but it was too dark out and I couldn’t see inside. I left the message saying just that, but they still didn’t come out to check it and release the animal if it was caught. We checked it later that day and saw that it was a cat. By night time, they still didn’t come out to release it, we called now for sure knowing it was a cat and they said because I didn’t explicitly say I saw something that morning I called, they wouldn’t come out. We explained that this cat will now probably be in the trap for potentially up to 48 hours if they wait until tomorrow and they said, the cat will be fine. We didn’t like that answer and I released the cat myself.
We called to cancel and the gentleman said that this was my wife’s fault for not explaining to me that when I call in each morning, I have to explicitly say that something is in it, not just it’s sprung and they should come look.
Between blaming my wife and not coming to release the cat, I think I can find a better business.
