Subway

The staff here is awesome and extremely friendly. They always have a smile and remember their customers. It’s also very clean and nice inside.

This visit was saved by a Dog wearing Pants.
Let’s start at the beginning. I was out with George feeling pecking and wanted a bite. Since I wanted something fast and easy but not greasy I figured «what the heck?» and hit this Subway. Home of the $ 7.75 foot long. What?! I asked the 2 dudes behind the counter what ever happened to the 5 dollar foot long (and mentally added the PS of the 4.50 six inch). They said «what 5 dollar foot long? Never head of it» So I retorted «the one from all the commercials and ads.» Then started singing the jingle. So a guy says «every Subway is different.» So I asked if because its the North Shore they tack 3 dollars to each item. They kinda smiled and shrugged then told me for me *special* I can have any sandwich for 6 dollars. «This is getting ridiculous» I thought to myself, got some baked Lays chips and bopped out amazed at the knavery.
To be confronted by a sleek, regal looking black Doberman wearing pants. Tan, dressy, well cut, Ralph Lauren looking slacks– to be precise. I asked aloud «Is that dog wearing PANTS?» As if he had heard this question before he looked me in the eye and did the Angelina Jolie leg extend in pride. His human came up and explained his fashion choice and we respectively realized I knew this doggie and it was great.
Hopefully the next time some guy tries to rip me off I see a dog with a fez, or cat carrying a parasol, or owl with a monocle.

I am not typically a fan of fast food, but subway has healthy options. This subway is always clean an the staff is very friendly and remembers you. What I really appreciate is that they are sensitive to my vegetarian diet and always change their gloves before making my sandwich.
The only negative I have of this place is that their coupons can be misleading. Not all sandwiches are included and if you add an ingredient it is costlier than it really should be.

This subway rocks! Nice seating and tvs? I will be making my way to this subway from now on. Not that subways are much different but tvs and friendly service makes it worth my while.

Nothing redeeming about this place.

Best Subway restaurant in the North Shore!
None of the nearby Subway restaurants are particularly bad, but this store is just especially nice. The employees are very friendly, very fast, attentive, and are generous with the toppings. Since it’s a popular location, just South of the High School, the ingredients are always fresh and never sit around for very long. The dining room is very big, climate controlled, the seating is very comfortable (they even have a few lounge chairs, in front of their widescreen TV). Their bathrooms are large, and meticulously clean.
Parking can be a little tough, since it’s a small lot, but there’s lots of alternative places to park in Downtown Highland Park.
