History

Established in 2014.

Our first USA location is nestled in the distinguished suburb of Highland Park, just outside of Chicago. Centrally located in the Elm Place clock tower plaza, this spacious studio holds 12 M3 Megaformers™. The space features floor to ceiling windows and a fully mirrored large workout room. With a cozy lounge area, towel service and chic cubbies, this location offers a flawless experience from start to finish. Group classes, semi-​private and private classes available.

Business Owner

Jacob is a Partner of Studio Lagree USA, and is the President of Studio Lagree Chicago. An ambitious entrepreneur with experience running various successful ventures/​businesses, Jacob is also the co-​owner of Tarpan Transport, an interstate transportation company based in Chicago. Jacob is responsible for overseeing all day to day Business Operations of all Studio Lagree Chicagoland locations.

Tough Pilates workout on a mega former. I mean tough! This class will engage every muscle so they shake and burn and you want to give up but you don’t because the instructors encourage you to keep going and hang on… The classes are fast paced and take a few times to get the hang of the mega former. I’ve been impressed with every instructor and their ability to make a tough workout fun. It may seem like a long 50 minutes but at the end you will feel good and want to come back for more! The studio is modern, bright and clean. Towels are provided and grippy socks are very helpful if you have them. The classes are pricey at $ 35 each or slightly less if you purchase a package. Studio lagree is a great overall toning, and strength training class that is low impact. A fantastic addition to your routine if you are ready & willing to mix things up!

Had been wanting to try lagree, as all of my friends kept telling me what an incredibly amazing and hard workout it was, and I finally tried this summer and I am now addicted. It is such an incredible total body workout that I always leave feeling stronger and better, not to mention sore for days after. The music they play is the best I’ve heard in any workout class and the teachers are so enthusiastic and motivational they make it so much fun while kicking my butt! It’s a phenomenal workout and one sure to humble you, no matter how much you work out. It happily surprises me every time!

Best total body workout you’ll ever find! I always leave class feeling strong! Lagree transformed this cardio junky into a leaner and more powerful person. The studio is always very clean. The instructors are fantastic — friendly, talented and will get you to push your limits! I’m addicted!

Studio Lagree is amazing! It’s Pilates on crack! I’m in the fitness industry and have done many types of workouts, this is one of my favorites. It really is a great workout and the instructor will target one area and fatigue the muscle. I feel amazing after and literally feel stronger and look stronger. Dana Roy is an outstanding instructor, she is smart with her workouts. Her exercises flow from one to another. Not to mention, she’s got an amazing personality and will always make you laugh during class. Her music is great too! You must try Studio Lagree. Worth it!

I have been doing this workout for the past 3 months and if you haven’t tried it yet, you should run not walk to your first initial class which costed $ 15! I was in a rut with my workouts, working out hard but not getting results, they call this Pilates on crack and that’s what it is. After 4 weeks of classes 2−3x a week depending on the week I have seen amazing results.
The studio is spotless, the staff is amazing. All the instructors are motivating and very helpful, they are great at correcting form and really know how to make the body burn. The music is great and the other clients are very welcoming.

Environment and workout are both key to my experience at these fitness places. For me, the environment just wasn’t good. The instructor scolded me as though I was a little kid — «no! you are not doing this right,» «you are not putting weight on your right leg. i said right leg!» «you can’t do this segment because you didn’t load the right springs (I actually loaded it right but took it off and it turned into a back and forth of yes i did, no you did not). All these on my very first class. Not looking for a pat on the back for surviving my first class, but not looking to get told off either.

Not my thing, The exercise was decent, but the price and individual care is ridiculous. I basically paid $ 15⁄30 minutes to try my best to work out an a machine I had never seen before. This was after multiple times of showing up and being sent home due to mutual online miscommunication. The phone manager will agree to anything you say, but will not implement it. When asked for a redo of my trial I was told that it is against policy. Disappointed, but who would actually go workout to a place with high prices and little individualized help? I miss they days when health/​wellness establishments actually cared about their clients, but it seems to be a dying trend :(

You will not find a better work out! The studio is clean and well run. Everyone is friendly and interested in making sure you are comfortable. You don’t need to have any experience to come in and give it a try. Jacob the owner is committed to running the best classes and will help get you started. The trainers are top notch like Joanie and Dana –they practice what they preach and make sure each and every person is doing the exercises correctly and effectively through the whole class. You will burn fat and build lean muscle like nothing else! It’s truly worth the 55 minute class and I’ve tried many!

My friend was asked to come in and try this place so she could write a review on her blog. Since the first class is free for everyone she invited me to come along with her.
I have never taken a reformer class before so the concept of a megareformer was totally foreign to me. Big scary machines with lots of gadgets and accessories covered the studio space. The studio walls were covered in mirrors so we could watch our form and work on correcting it.
The instructor leading the class started us off doing a warm-​up. Even the warm up was difficult which scared me for the rest of the session. The instructor did a great job explaining and demonstrating the moves. There were also 2 other people helping out with the class and walking around to help correct form or give helpful hints. The class size was very small only about 6 – 7 people for our class so we had lots of individual attention. Which is either good or bad depending on how you look at it. If I had questions or didn’t know how to do an exercise there was always someone right there to help me figure it out. But when my arms were shaking from fatigue and I thought they might fall off and all I wanted to do was lay there and have a mini break, it was easy to get called out for slacking!
Overall the class was great. I consider myself a fairly strong and active person but this class kicked my butt. My muscles were all fatigued. I think going to this class regularly would get me super, super toned.
I would like to go again to this class but this place is a pretty far drive for me and it is a little spendy for me as well.
