After waiting two hrs for a Checker Cab to come and no one showed up they claimed it was because we had a dog. So I started calling around called Metropolitan Cab told them we had a dog. Told them where we were going they said driver would call. About fifteen minutes later the driver called and was there in five minutes. They are our choice for cabs now.

They were fast, friendly, and affordable.
My friends and I went to a bar in Detroit to celebrate, and the first cab company we took told us to call when we were finished and they would pick us up. Three hours later we called, and the original cab company told us they do not do pick ups in Detroit, which is only 5 miles south of where we started in Royal Oak. The bartender called metropolitan cab, they were there in less than 5 minutes, and charged ½ of what the original cab driver charged. I will now use metropolitan cab every time.
Additionally, this is the company with the fabulous purple cars =).

after finishing our celebrations at bakers keyboard lounge we attempted to call ferndale cab, the cab company we took to the club.
2 ½ hour wait was what they told us
i decided to call the cab in a little town called hazeltucky. i figured white trash just drives drunk, they don’t actually call cabs.
the lady on the phone told me 3 minutes.
the cab arrived in three minutes. the fare cost 4.90 $. the driver was really nice.
way to go metropolitan cab.
