Every mother and baby deserves support and encouragement during their breastfeeding journey. We strive to empower new mothers by giving them confidence in their innate abilities, while at the same time offering extra assistance when needed. This is done in a gentle, pressure-​free way and our first and foremost goal is that every parent should leave our office feeling understood, valued and hopeful.

Meet the Business Owner

Marninah H. and Chaya L.

Business Owner

Marninah Hersh, RN, IBCLC, ICCE

Marninah received her BSN from the University of Ottawa. She completed her lactation training at Jacobi Medical Center in NY. During this time, she also became a childbirth educator. In NJ, Marninah joined a large pediatric private practice and has been consulting with breastfeeding mothers and offering classes. She is board certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners and the International Childbirth Education Association.

Chaya Lighten, MHA, RPA-​C, IBCLC

Chaya first worked on the pediatric ward in Jamaica Hospital in NY as a Physician Assistant. In NJ, she worked in RWJUH’s NICU. She was excited to also provide lactation consultations for pediatric patients over the past years while working at a private practice in East Brunswick, NJ. Chaya received her PA degree from Touro College and completed her lactation training through Lactation Education Resources. She is IBCLE-​board certified and holds a MHA from Univ. of MD.
