Greaves TMC/Travel Leaders

My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Ruby from Greaves TMC/​Travel Leaders while planning our first trip to Ireland. Though many websites sell vacation packages these days, we wanted the guidance and support of a professional travel agent to make certain we’d get the perfect vacation for us. Ruby was very attentive to our needs and interests, and planned an itinerary that reflected all that we asked for.
Wanting to cover a lot of the southern region without a bus tour group, we knew we’d need to rent a car and drive on ‘the wrong side of the road’ with a steering wheel on the ‘wrong side’ too. Ruby was very wise in advising us to travel from Dublin to Waterford via train and then pick up our rental car in Waterford. With all the adjustment needed to drive safely, we’re so glad we started in a more rural area. Trying to maneuver the streets of Dublin would have caused us a lot of stress and put a real strain on our trip — something we really didn’t need.
We asked Ruby to help us find lodging that would give us a feel of the local culture and offer us a quiet night’s sleep without being too far off the beaten path. Every place was unique, charming, and comfortable. Highlights included two nights at a lovely bed and breakfast in a small town outside of Waterford, and an unforgettable stay at Dromoland Castle.
We are so glad that we worked with a professional travel agent that ensured that we would get the perfect vacation. And while everything went off without a hitch, it gave us great peace of mind to know that there was someone there to assist us if any problems had arisen.
