Broadband internet and cable television for Alachua, Branford, Chiefland, Cross City, Hawthorne, High Springs, McIntosh, Micanopy, Orange Lake, Reddick, and Steinhatchee Florida
For an internet provider, this company sure is antiquated. They do allow online payments but it’s extremely rudimentary and doesn’t all you to check your balance. You can setup automatic monthly payments, but you have to print out a form and mail it to them! What?! If you try to call and speak with someone, there is always at least a 15 minute wait, but very often closer to 30 minutes, with the same recording saying«All representatives are serving other customers, please hold» EVERY30SECONDSWHILETHESAMETWOAWFULSONGSPLAYOVERANDOVER! As of March 2015, the prices for everything went up about $ 15. Now 15Mbs Internet is $ 65 per month. The only reason I stay is because my only other option is AT&T DSL. At least Altitude allows unlimited download usage, and doesn’t throttle me to death.

The customer service is absolutely horrible! In the past few weeks, they have dropped stations that we used to get like CBS, ABC, Foodnetwork, HGTV and others. There has been no explanation and I cannot get a human being on the phone. I have been calling both the local High Springs office and the NC office for over 2 weeks and each time I am placed on hold for at least 30 minutes. Several times, after a long hold, the call hangs up. I have called, emailed, chatted and cannot speak to anyone. Even the rep on the chat line could not reach anyone. I have an inn and 9 televisions and this service is totally unsatisfactory and disappointing. What the heck is going on? Altitude needs to get its act together. I would not recommend them in their present form to anyone. In fact, if I could get someone on the phone, I would cancel my service.
