The kind of place that reminds you why you moved up here. Decorated by a metalhead into skateboarding. Relaxed, irreverent, fun. Good prices, great food, friendly folks. During the holidays there’s a bin for a Rosendale charity donations on the porch. Ample free parking. Along 213(one of the prettiest drives in the Catskills).

Looking for a breakfast spot, we drove past this little hippie café and had to stop. So glad we did. Awesome atmosphere, great tunes, and décor is very original. We had the breakfast wrap and the turkey-blt. The breakfast wrap I added bacon to and it was simply devine. The TBLT was on homemade bread that was thick and crisp, very hearty and the bacon was cooked to perfection. Definitely will be coming back.

Excellent breakfast and compared to Brooklyn prices, half the cost for higher quality food.

As a former part-time resident of Ulster Cty and a big fan of the area, I’m happy to see The Last Bite here and thriving. Breakfast options are limited within walking/biking distance from my rental in High Falls and this place hits the mark for me. I’ve had 3 meals here in the past week and all have been fresh, tasty and served with a smile. The breakfast tostado rocked as did my «Hungry Hipster» and«Legend». Worth a visit if you are nearby and feeling peckish, just finished hiking or looking for an «off premise» breakfast/lunch option while staying at the Mohonk Mountain house!

The hippest little café in the coolest little town… the Last Bite always has great coffee, great scones(thank you MK!) and a cool, grungy atmosphere. Great breakfast, too. If you insist on hospital sterile, this isn’t for you. This is down and dirty, stop by in your hiking boots and relax. Well worth a drive and on Sundays you can stroll to the High Falls Flea Market in the summer.

Stopped in for breakfast on our way hiking. What an awesomely charming place. The food was outstanding. We shared breakfast wraps and pancakes. Everything was so good and made to order. It is a self serve kind of place. Pour your own coffee, sit down relax and the food will show up soon. Can’t say enough good things. I hope to get back at some point if we are back in the area.

Had Roast Beef, then BLT, both outstanding, fresh veggies, thick bacon good rye and sour dough. Only drawback is wait time.

Yummy sandwiches on-the-go, nice ambiance with a mini terrace we had a chance to experience. Cool people work where, we’ll come back :)

I love the food here. Everyone should check it out. We had the tapas last night, and boy was it great. Also the homemade desserts are fabulous.

LOVE The Last Bite! The food is interesting and has gotten better and better as the place has gotten its groove on: wonderful fresh juices, freshly brewed iced tea & coffee, sweet stuff, and lots of vegetarian & meat options. The ONLY downer is a particularly surly girl who mans the counter some days. She’s *so* unpleasant(I don’t know that I’ve ever heard a please/thank you/have a nice day from her). In short, she looks like the Bite is the last place she would like to be. Customer service is definitely not her thing. The owner, Carrie(spelling?), could not be more charming or helpful, so it’s a bummer that she allows this person to represent her business. So, go and enjoy some delish vittles – just know that they might occasionally be served with a little attitude :-\
