Brian Arrington has done two home inspections for me and he is the most reliable, professional and competent inspector in this area. I have worked with real estate for 2 years and I made an educated choice picking him to do both of my home inspections. I fully recommend him!

Brian is an excellent and thorough, and a really nice guy to boot.
Really knows the area and it’s history, and so knows common practices in older homes. Had him inspect 2 homes in the NJ area, and he has a great understanding and deep knowledge of what is normal for the area and time period, and what needs to be addressed.
Also a great resource for recommendations on high quality contractors to fix any issues that might come up, which is very valuable since we are new to the area.
Wouldn’t use anyone else.

My wife and I are first time homebuyers, and like many in our position, feel pretty vulnerable and unequipped to take on the many challenges the home-​buying process can bring.

Not only is he supremely knowledgeable about homes — everything from certain pipes facing the wrong way to the wrong roof tiles being used to certain cracks on certain surfaces meaning certain things — but he’s also extremely patient with the many questions we’ve thrown his way.
At every step of the inspection process he’s gone above and beyond to make sure we’ve been absolutely armed with the info we need to make an informed decision.
His inspection report was straightforward, clear, and concise, and arrived to us in a timely manner.
Most importantly, Brian’s a straight-​shooter. There’s no BS. There’s no double-​speak or cryptic language. He tells you exactly how it is, and trust me, that’s exactly what you want when you’re buying a home.

Mr. Arrington seems to mask his lack of thoroughness with attitude. He flies over topics and barely touches on the important topics worth looking into during an inspection. We regret so much having selected him. We thought that his age and experience would serve us best. How wrong were we?! This mistake ended up costing us thousands at the end. A young, up-​to-​date and sharper inspector would have defended our interests so much better. How many times during our renovations have the contractors, workers, architect and even at one point our lawyer said, «how come didn’t your inspector raise an issue on this?» Trust us and chose someone else for YOUR home inspection and save yourself a lot of money and aggravation.
