Had a girls night out here and the staff was supper friendly and courteous. We had an amazing time and all the food was prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is laid back and they have a bar area that was packed. Seating was done pretty fast and they didn’t rush us out the door! We were the last ones siting in dinning area and felt right at home.

This is absolutely the best EVER place to go when you want good food and a great friendly atmosphere. Every time we are in NY this is our «go to place» when we are hungry and don’t want to be disappointed with menu options. The chef Joe makes every dish taste special. The big problem with this place is that every time we go we eat EVERYTHING on our plates. The entire staff, as well as the Chef and owner, strives to make everyone feel comfortable. LOVE, love, love this place.

As far as steak goes, I wouldn’t know. As sad as it is, in the two times I have come here, I did not order the steak either time. I got the burger, which is very good. Prepared Medium Rare, as only a steak house can (and often only a steak house is even willing!), and with my own choice of toppings (Cheese, bacon, onions, and barbecue sauce, of course, the best way to prepare a burger), the burger was very good. Service was good, and even though I was terribly sick when I went most recently, I still had a very good experience.

This is the place my family goes to for special occasions (birthdays, graduations, etc). They have the best filet mignon I’ve ever had! Tender and juicy and cooked to perfection! I’ve been here multiple times and have never ordered anything else because I know I won’t have a steak like that for a while.
It is slightly pricey, but you get what you pay for. You may have to wait a bit for your food, but it’s worth it.

We had my son’s communion party in the upstairs party room. Everything was just amazing! Linda was fantastic to deal with from booking the party, to picking out the menu and table linens, to making sure the party ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the service was flawless. I made small bags of Hershey Kisses for favors they placed them in a decorative basket for guests to take as they left. Since the party room was upstairs and there were some small children there they even had a gate to put up so there was no worrying about any of the children falling down the stairs. They really thought of everything. I can’t say enough about how wonderful Peppercorns is. Thank you to Linda and her staff for making my son’s communion such a memorable event!

I have nothing but praise for this restaurant. I have visited in the past and have always had an excellent experience. I decided to throw my husband a surprise 40^th birthday party. What a great choice! I worked with Sean months before to plan he was accommodating and helpful. When I sent an email– I received a prompt and clear response. Thank you Sean! When I came in on the morning of the party to set up balloons I was helped by Linda who was also fabulous! Price– Affordable — you get more than you pay for (with the wonderful staff and food)

Place is cute and casual, steak was BOMB​.COM Manhattan quality steak. Got the Winter Salad to start off with and then moved onto the Filet Mignon which had a delicious gravy and a big helping of creamy and perfect mashed potatoes. I’m a steak lover and used to Manhattan quality steak, and this impresses me! That says a lot. Service was good and fast. Went on a snowy Monday night so it was a ghost town. Definitely recommend this place. Dinner for two (we both had steak and salad and shared an ice cream) cost about $ 70. Not too bad for this quality of food.

My fiancé suprised me by taking me here on my birthday… lemme start by saying the food is fantastic… everything we ordered was phenomenal, especially the Lobster and the Steak. the asparagus, potatoes. it was all good, very good. And almost forgot, the house wine our waiter recommended hit the spot as well, a nice red wine which always goes great with steak.
The only reason I dock a star is because it’s a bit on the pricier side BUT it is well worth it! I’ll definitely be coming here again.

the food is excellent and filling. Plenty of parking. Wait staff was the best very friendly. I was wit a party of 9. We were given a private room. The waitress was quick and told us all the specials. The prices are very good. Very enjoyable evening Highly recommended

I only recently went to Peppercorns which is strange because my parents had already been here several times. When you walk in, you’re in the bar area. The bartender was very friendly and pointed us in the direction of the host. We were quickly seated and given the specials for the evening. I had consulted with Unilocal first and everyone seemed to recommend the risotto. It was on the menu as «risotto of the day» and while the menu listed it as lobster, mine was with shrimp. No big deal. I like both.
Beers here are average price. The cocktail list has a few interesting options to choose from. The baked brie was just okay, I’ve had far better. My risotto was good but very rich and heavy. The flavors were all there and it came out sizzling hot. The 4 stars I’m giving really go towards the service. The staff is friendly, doesn’t bother you, and are a nice group to enjoy a meal with. Prices for the food are a bit steep considering what you get but nonetheless it’s good.

Always a pleasure going to peppercorns for dinner! Food is always delicious and as far as service, I have never had the slightest of issues. Tonight we had dinner at the bar, and the food and service was top notch. Many thanks to Mike our bartender/​server and Sean!

Overall Rating: No «WOW!» factor but no «BOO!» factor either.
It was clean and we were happy with the service. The inside was a little old but they did some cute things to make the most of it. Weird location but plenty of parking. All things considered, the price was reasonable for the food/​experience.
The food was good, not great. For example, their «famous» baked clams had a unique consistency but we can’t tell if we loved it or preferred the normal consistency. The steak was a little dry yet cut easily. The risotto was good… nothing more, nothing less. The apple crisp was slightly disappointing but the chicken cordon bleu was pretty tasty (the mustard sauce was really delicious though). So, like we said above, you probably won’t love this place but you probably won’t hate it either.

the food is awesome. I had the 10 ounce filet mignon. it was so tender. I had clams oreganato for appetizer, the clams and sauce was perfect. I finished it off with peach shortcake, it had fresh peaches. the service and management was very attentive. I will be bqck there.

Sevice was excellent. Our server was very pleasant. To be honest, the food was just average. We had risotto of the day, lamb, and swordfish. The only thing I want to say is: I’ve had better… However, the apple-​Tini I had was great! Atmosphere is nice, a good place to bring your GF/​BF to ;)

Really nice place to have a party with about 100 guests or so. The food was delicious and the service was great. The workers always went out of their way to make sure everyone had everything they need and always came around to everyone to see if people needed anything else. Nice clean party room with bathrooms close by as well. Very clean place. I wouldn’t hesitate to have a party at peppercorns in the future. I must come here to eat at the restaurant one night here. I’m sure the restaurant is great!

Great place with good food and good drinks. I’ve never had a bad meal here.

Came for a late lunch and was warmly greeted by our waiter who also sat us at our table. The dining area was clean and warm on a cold day.
I got the cowboy burger comes with pepper jack cheese haystack onions and bbq sauce ontop. Was pretty good I’ve had better burgers. I actually didn’t care for the fried onions. The fries were too dry and not fluffy. The French onion soup doesn’t look the best but tastes good not overly salty like most places. Shaved prime rib sandwich was good. For lunch you can get a special for around 10 dollars that comes with soup or fries or you could pick something else from the menu around $ 15.
Our waiter was very friendly. After leaving the bartender (?) or owner said thank you and to have a happy thanksgiving. Although they don’t serve the best food, the happy service makes you leave happy.
