Georgette’s Bra Girdle & Lingerie Place

I went there to get fitted and it looks as though they are out of business? What a shame!

Great bra place for young and old who are big busted and have problems finding the appropriate size. Personalized attention, accurate measuring and TLC.

Went here to buy a corsett for my wedding gown. I also bought a everyday bra. Total was 130.00 They told me wear the bra home dont worry you can return it. By the time I got home I had welts under my bust So uncomfotable. Went back the next day. Wont give my money back only store credit. I was flipping. I said you sold me a corsett for my gown not knowing if its going to work under the gown thinking I can return it. Poor poor business. Now im out 130.00 and still no bra or corsett. The credit is useless. Nothing fit me right. The bras were old lady uncomfortable lace no cleavage bra. They ripped me off and didnt care.

This place came highly recommended. Saleswomen are older, very pleasant and seem to know their job. When I got home I noticed the bra didn’t quite fit right when I lied down. I went back the following day. Georgette was there with a different woman and each of them measured differently. They put me in a different bra.
The bra they suggested had no name in it, just a size and style number. I did ask who the manufacturer was. There was no tag or label in the bra as to who the manufacturer was or suggested retail price. One of the woman thought it might have been Wacoal. We did an even exchange as that was the price on the box. I was told it was a discontinued bra. It was originally 68.00 now 48, which is what I paid for the first bra. (They store them in what can best be described as shoe boxes). When I got home I was curious and googled the style number. It is not a Wacoal bra but a QT microfiber bra which is on line for $ 20.00. Rest assured I am not happy about paying $ 50.00 for a $ 20.00 bra. I will bring the ad in and show them today. When I called georgette yesterday she spoke about a store credit. At this point I just want my money back. And now a third trip. Getting tired of this. I wish my experience with them was more positive they are sweet older women.

Went back today, got a different bra and hopefully paid the suggested retail price.
They were going to make good on the previous bra.

came here for my wedding day corset, was in & out she sized me right up. highly recommend this place!!! I want to go back and get a bra one day from here.

I have a big bust and it’s very difficult to find bras in my size. I have tried all types of stores, from Victoria’s Secret (which btw is literally a bra store for girls who have no busy at all) to a thousand different online stores. I have spent over $ 60 on bras to find a decent bra and I have found no success.
Then, my sister told me about Georgette’s. We arrived there and there were two sweet old ladies ready to help. I don’t know their names but the lady with red hair helped us and she was kind and literally told us we had on the wrong bra and needed something else. She did warn us that these bras aren’t the most pretty bras, i.e. lacy, sexy, etc. and she’s right but she didn’t care. We needed decent bras that would hold our ladies in place, and she found us them! I am very satisfied with the bras I bought from here. Yes, the bras aren’t that flattering but they aren’t ugly! And yes, the bras are pricey but they are fantastic! That’s the only reason this place didn’t get 5 stars, because of the expensive bras!

If you have a larger bust and have a hard time finding good fitting bras at Victoria’s Secret, Macy’s, etc then this is the place for you.
After a frustrating search for a strapless bra to wear with a bridesmaid’s dress my mom recommended that I go to Georgette’s. Within minutes of arriving I had a long line strapless bra that fit me perfectly. I decided to purchase 2 more regular bras in addition.
As other reviews mentioned, it is not possible to browse in this store. The bras are stored in boxes. When you arrive, georgette measures you and then brings you the bras that she believes will work best. I will admit, at first she brought me a very large, matronly bra that I couldn’t possibly wear with a v-​neck or tank top. But when I asked for something a little lower cut she said: «of course, you are young. You want something sexy!»
She is very sweet and genuinely wants to find you a good bra that will fit and flatter you.
And the prices are reasonable! I used to spend over $ 100 on a decent bra from Towne Shop in NYC, but the bras here are around $ 50. Definitely check it out, especially if you wear larger than a D cup.

I’ve been needing a good bra and heard great things about this place from family and friends. I am now in love too.
I walked in and right away I was surprised. Housecoats! Do people even still wear them? Also you do not have the choice to pick or even see any of the bras, they are all behind the counter in boxes.
I took my coat off and the older lady immediately said to me, «oh no. this is all wrong. What kind of bra are you even wearing».
I was wearing an expensive Victoria Secret bra. She measured me in 3 different places, thought for a moment, went in one of her boxes and handed me ONE bra.
I went in the dressing room, tried on the bra, and oh my goodness. I never realized what a good bra, that fits properly, would look like and feel like.
It is the most comfortable bra I’ve ever put on. No more pulling on my bra to adjust it! Not to mention my boobs never looked so good!
I walked out of the dressing room, leaving the bra on and gave my expensive Victoria Secret bra to the sales lady to throw right in the garbage!
The bras are standard price, and like the other reviews they are noting fancy to look at, not with clothes off anyway, but with clothes on, man what a difference!
The sales lady was so funny and cute, we had quite a few laughs.
This place is deceiving from inside and out, but trust me… its a hidden GEM!
