Ridgeview is one of Hickory’s three public libraries. This location is a branch library, and much smaller than Hickory’s main purveyor of books, Patrick Beaver Memorial Library. Although the facility is a fraction of the size, I have always found the library well organized, clean, and the librarians have always been courteous and helpful. There is usually a bored Hickory Public Safety officer located here after dark, because this library is situated next to the hood.
