I was verbally promised the results Mr. Poteet would produce. Never got any paper work stating the promised out come would happen, she never even did research on my (traffic) case before she stated the probable outcome. I assumed they would handle it because I paid for it in full and washed my hands of the situation. 2+ years later I find out that the results promised were not met, he did not do anything I couldn’t have done. My question is why the heck did I pay this guy $***.**?? I called up the seemingly only person that works at this office to understand why it wasn’t dropped (like I was promised[which is the only reason I paid the guy]) and the receptionist was very impatient and unprofessional, yes I was irritated, but both times I talked to her she slammed the phone down and hung up. Now maybe I’m new to the world of lawyers, but hanging up on clients is unacceptable.
My suggestion to you is find another lawyer with a more professional staff, this being my first experience with one I’ve learned my lesson: if they fail to provide paper work stating the outcome, RUN! They’re setting up to screw you later on!

Mr. Poteet and staff did a good job of answering my questions and was very reasonable in cost. He had a speeding ticket converted to Improper Equipment (no points) as allowed under NCGS. Very efficient practice.
