Hickory Distinctive Dentistry

This dentist really sucks and is a real Joke, he has no sympathy for you at all on his own mess-​ups. He withholds information to you on your own dental work but writes it in his charts to cover his butt. He did a root canal on my tooth and broke a file off and never told me with knowing I was moving out of state and not going to have dentist insurance. I kept telling him periodically that my tooth he did the root canal on was hurting off and on, he did nothing about it not even asking me to come in so he can look at it. He went off and opened his own business with leaving the one he worked and and messed up my tooth. The new dentist office that bought out where Daniel Gaffney once worked sent me to the endodontist in Hickory come to find out that I had a broken file from the root canal stuck in there. It was in there for a good 4 years loaded with infection all that time and so close to my brain. The infection eventually ate the bone that holds my tooth after spending almost $ 5000.00 myself at the endodontist to realize I am going to lose that tooth altogether any way. Prior to that all happening, a tooth behind that one was cracked and Daniel Gaffney talked me into having it pulled stating for me to NOT save that tooth when money was not an issue, so now 2 teeth in a row missing because of this real winner of a jerk. So you call him to talk to him, he refuses all your calls and has some insurance J A call you and send you letters in the mail with defending him. This dentist is a real va ja ja even being on the feminine side and can not face his patients for his F-​ups. Do NOT go to Daniel Gaffney at his so called quality office being there is NOTHING at all quality about it. Go to Dr Gordon in Conover, NC, at least he is a real man and handles his patients issues/​problems and even pays for them too. :) Daniel Gaffney needs to be turned into Raleigh at the medical board as well as a report put on
and consumer complaints. If anybody has complaints with him, do not withhold them, post them all over the internet to protect others. Thank you!
