I stayed at the Gateway Extended Stay Hotel for 3 weeks. Had I to do it over again, I would have stayed elsewhere. Although the staff was very friendly and helpful, «BASIC» doesn’t even begin to describe the extended-stay rooms. I had a «King Suite» which included weekly laundry/towels/housekeeping, a kitchenette with 4 sets of plates, bowls, silverware and a «living room» with a table, chairs, couch and«wifi.» Except the«wifi» didn’t work 2 out of every 3 days, didn’t reach the bedroom, and even when I hard-wired in, the internet was often down. The bedroom was totally adequate, except the sheets barely stayed on the bed(and I don’t move when sleeping), there appeared not to be a mattress pad, but just a blanket over the mattress under the sheet. I had to ASK for hangers as there were none in the closet. Although clean and vacuumed the carpet was VERY stained. There was no iron or ironing board in the room, although the non-extended stay hotel advertisements boast this inclusion. In the bathroom they provided nothing but towels and toilet paper. No soap, shampoo, conditioner, and DEFINITELY no hairdryer. The grout between the tiles was stained different colors which made me wonder about mold. The Kitchenette had a working fridge, coffeepot, toaster, microwave and stove/oven. The«set of 4 dishes» did not include glasses, but only 4oz coffee cups. They also don’t mention that for an extra fee you can keep pets, which means that you could easily have a yappy dog next door. Additionally half the floor is smoking, so the stairwells and hallways ALWAYS smelled like smoke. The pricing is very reasonable on a weekly basis, but you GETWHATYOUPAYFOR… and I should have paid more and stayed elsewhere.
