Clark’s Bicycle Center is a full service bicycle shop in Hickory, N.C. serving the area since 1967. We specialize in finding the appropriate bicycle for the customer’s needs, the appropriate accessories and parts for the cyclists, and providing the best service and satisfaction.

Clark’s Bicycle Center is proud to offer a range of bicycles, adult trikes, tricycles, youth bicycles, road and mountain bicycles, and wants to be YOUR go-​to bicycle shop!

History

Established in 1967.

Clark’s Bicycle Center is a family-​owned business. John D. Clark is the sole owner of this shop. The family also owns another well-​known business in the area… Clark Tire & Auto. The shop has evolved into a «bicycle» only shop from its first beginnings of a bicycle and toy shop. The current manager Michael Swanson, was trained at United Bicycle Institute in Oregon, and has been at the shop for over 12 years. Jim Sencio is our newly-​added mechanic and sales person. Jim is originally from Connecticut and started with Clark’s Bicycle Center in June 2011. We currently carry Giant, Electra, Transition, Santa Cruz, Torker, Sun, and offer bicycles, adult trikes, tricycles, unicycles, scooters, and various parts and accessories for those bikes.

Hi! My name is Michael Swanson, I’m the manager at Clark’s Bicylcle Center in Hickory, N.C. I have been a life long proponent of pedaling a bicycle! I have memories past and present that have enriched my life and continue to enrich my life and well-​being to this day! I want to be able to help you create those same type of memories when you pedal your bicycle!
