Sadie Blue’s BBQ

My family and I stopped in on vacation and left with full bellies and a happy heart! This was some of the best BBQ we have had in awhile.
My dad and I had the brisket. This was so tender we could barely pick it up with a fork and wasn’t overly smokey. My dad said the baked beans also had some extra something that made them really worth getting if you are a baked bean fan. My mom and sister had the pulled pork and raved about its flavor and the lack of fat. The sweet heat BBQ sauce there was tasty so definitely try it! Another side note was the perfect garlic toast it wasn’t greasy or soggy but an excellent compliment to the meal.
The mac and cheese was average so pass and instead get the hash brown casserole made from the owner’s grandmother’s recipe. There are also a variety of homemade desserts that hit the spot! Like the fudge brownie and the delicious icing on the lemon cake.
Beautiful lake view and incredibly friendly owner made the experience. We would certainly come back if in the area and would suggest to anyone looking for BBQ in the area that even stays open a little later than the others.

This place seats by lake chatuge and serves bbq dishes. Their specialty is brisket. You can seat outside and enjoy a great view of the lake while you eat your delicious bbq dishes. There is a nice gift shop. Check out the picture I posted which shows the porch area of the restaurant.

There are too many better BBQ options. The brisket was thin and dry, the Cuban sandwich was so-​so. The ribs were good. However, the sides were inedible! Won’t be back.

Sadie Blue’s is wonderful! Great food, especially the Bananna Pudding. The friendly family atmosphere is most welcome as they go out of their way to make sure the customer is top priority. THANK YOU! STEVE from Chicago.

I love all the diffident kinds if sandwiches and salads that Sadie Blue’s café has to offer. Every thing is a reasonable price and witch also is crazy great. I love the view of the like out on the deck when I’m eat and the home inside feeling. The owner are friendly and it’s in between two store with great stuff like corn holes and hand made crafts. Sadie Blue’s is my new place to be!
