I use to be obsessed with this pizza. I dont know if they changed cooks or what happened but this passed year i have been receiving the pizza like if it was shook in the box. I had to make two complaints. I either receive the pizza soggy with the cheese slid off or just a mess period. It doesn’t look edible. So disappointed.

Always amazing spaghetti, garlic rolls and pizza. My wife introduced me to this place about 7years ago and we always go when we are in the area. We live in Homestead and have made weekend lunch trips just to have their Lasagna or Hawaiian pizza and garlic rolls.

I love this joint. The pizza is great but the real star of the show are the garlic rolls, I mean wow! Swimming in garlic deliciousness. I’ve also had the sausage and pepper sub, that was amazing as well. I can also say the service is great, very welcoming and kind. I would recommend this place to anyone. Keep it up!

Very good pizza pie, decent cannoli, Reasonable prices, Friendly staff, but… The décor is filthy and from the 70’s. I can’t look past that dirty, dirty dining room. There is a non– existent ongoing cleaning program. Shame, shame, shame.

While I’m staying out of town for work I’ve been looking for good places to get delivery from. After reading the reviews of Salvatore’s I was hooked and had to order. I placed my order around 5:45 pm after waiting on hold for about 5 minutes. I was then told the delivery would be about an hour. Which I was fine with knowing the food should be worth the wait. Long story short it’s now 7:45 pm and I just finished eating.(I’m only two miles away from them.) I ordered the lasagna, a cannoli as recommended and a house salad. Lasagna rating: 1⁄5 grease was the flavor Cannoli(Plain): 2⁄5 just mediocre at best House salad: Don’t bother, heavily seasoned and very bitter vinegar based dressing. Side note: Delivery driver took my money and said sorry while he literally ran out the door. Didn’t ask if I needed any change or an apology for being almost an hour behind schedule. Don’t waste $ 25 bucks like I just did.

I prefer a family run pizza restaurant over the large chains any day. I’ve been to this place a handful of times as its close to one of my offices in Hialeah. Located in a really busy strip mall parking can sometimes be a challenge around lunch time but keep circling and I pull eventually find one. Once inside you’ll find a little bit dated dining room with assorted tables and booths. Decent menu with all of your favorite Italian dishes. I’ve tried a few things, mainly pizza by the slice which was out can get from plain cheese to pepperoni, sausage, meat, margarita, etc. The salads are decent as a side item. They also have hot & cold subs and love tax of entrees like Veal Parmesan. Friday I had a meatball sub and pretty much just ate the meatballs and a few bites of the bread. The sauce was hearty and flavorful and the bread was fresh and crunchy. The meatballs were plentiful and seasoned to perfection. I recommend. My buddy ordered a cold ham and cheese sandwich, slice of cheese pizza, both looked great! The ham and cheese was piled high on top of a fresh baked hoagie roll. If you want an old school pizza joint in Hialeah/Miami Lakes area, this is your spot.

Great place. I’ve been craving pizza since I came down here and glad I went here. Pizza deal was good, I had a medium pie with one topping and 3 garlic knots for under $ 11. Can’t beat that. The garlic knots are phenomenal, definitely a must have. Great place and good business owner /pleasant staff. Keep up the good work.

Waited to order twice before reviewing because the 1st time was to good to be true. The 2nd time was just as good. We are true Big Cheese fan and love that place. The fact we just moved and it’s extremely far now. we like and look for mom and pop type of places. Boy, we are so glad we found this place. The slices are huge, cheesy and just heavenly! The rolls, oh lord the garlic rolls… Soooooooo yummy. Warm, soft, chewy fresh rolls with which you can notice fresh cut garlic. I mean seriously!!! Customer service is good. No problems very nice so far. Have nothing bad to say, drivers are nice as well. Timing on the delivery is on point. Looking forward in trying everything in the menu because the selection looks amazing.

I love coming here ! It’s a little bit of a drive for me, but food is always excellent. It gets pretty busy on weekends at night, but their waitress is excellent! She doesn’t miss a beat! We always order the garlic breads to start and a pizza to share. I haven’t tried anything else, but from where I’m sitting, everything else looks really good too.

Ordered the Bianca pizza with ham and onions and it was very delicious. It had a great garlicky taste and I really liked how thin and crispy it was. The crust was a little hard but still good. We also had the garlic rolls and they weren’t the best. Not enough garlic actually barely any garlic. We had to go pick it up because delivery on a Friday night was around an hour and a half. We aren’t too far to we picked it up in 35 minutes. Customer service was good and helpful. I definitely recommend the Bianca pizza if your a white pizza lover like myself. I will be ordering from here again and again.

Had food delivered and it came cold and tasted like they cooked it hours ago. Very upset plus it took over an hour to get the cold food. I am going to dispute the charge as no one picks up the phone.

Pizza is great, the best of its kind. The Steak Supreme Sub is delicious. Called for delivery and was afraid it will arrive stale and soggy but it didn’t. It arrived like if I got it for pick up. I now have to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Hands down. Best NY style pizza in Miami. I’ve tried a lot of places… you know, to test them all out… for Unilocal purposes. Yeah. This one is by far my favorite. I’ve even come to have dinner at Flanigans(next door) and would have a slice as an appetizer while I waited for my table to be ready. If that’s not dedication(obsession), I don’t know what is. Find out for yourself. Promise you won’t be disappointed.

Ding, ding, ding… we have a winner. The pizza here is really great. I think it is the best pizza I have found in Dade County. Nice, chewy thin crust with a savory, somewhat spicy sauce and quality cheese and toppings. The penne alla vodka was really surprisingly tasty. I’m not normally a huge fan of this dish(got it for my wife), but I couldn’t stop eating this one. Lots of cheese and big on flavor. We also got the garlic knots and I felt like they were fairly standard. I liked them well enough. Prices were good and service was friendly. Definitely a find and I will definitely be working them into my pizza rotation.

So we were in Hialeah and to be honest ended up here because Flanigans had an insane wait. But we are glad that we did. We came in with seven people and were sat right away. To be difficult, we are colleagues and got separate checks, which they had absolutely no problem with. Everyone had different things, lasagna, pizza, pasta etc and everyone was happy with their dishes. What needs to be said though is every single person commented on the service, because it was amazing. Our waitresses name was Perla and she was just that good. You know every group has that one person that doesn’t get impressed easily but even they mentioned how great she was. Food was definitely good, but that service was exceptional. I’d get her a raise ASAP.

I was at a friend’s house one night helping her prep for her baby shower, and she ordered pizza from Salvatore for feeds. I had never had pizza from here before, despite it being so close to my house, and boy, was I missing out!!! Needless to say I dreamt about having Salvatore for an entire week and finally got my fix the next weekend. This is easily some of the best pizza in Hialeah. I kept it simple and just ordered a pepperoni pizza, but it was everything a classic pepperoni pizza should be. I also ordered mozzarella sticks, which were perfectly gooey and melty and came with a flavorful marinara sauce for dipping. The garlic rolls were also amazing! They are crispy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. I cannot wait to get back and try some more non-pizza dishes from Salvatore, although I’m always in the mood for pizza! The only annoying thing about Salvatore is that there is a Flanigan’s next door so the parking lot gets super full especially in the evenings and during games.

My favorite pizza joint to go to in Hialeah! It doesn’t get any better than this place, a true gem in the middle of Hialeah! The pizza is outstanding, and filled with so much flavor in an incredible thin sliced pizza. As soon as you walk inside the establishment, you’re greeted instantaneously! The indoors feels like you’re at a true pizzeria, it has the perfect feel. I usually go with the cheese or pepperoni pizza and it tastes just as amazing as the first time I ordered it! I also highly recommend the garlic rolls… they’re to die for! The only bad thing is this spot does get really busy on weekend nights, but on average the wait time to put in an order is exceptionally fast! If you haven’t tried Salvatore yet I highly recommend to try it out!

I have to say I came to this place very biased. Didn’t like it, didn’t want to go, didn’t like the location, nothing. Being from Naples, FL, makes you think that you know everything about Italian food and pizza, but I was wrong. The interior makes you feel like if you were in a pizzeria where union workers from New Jersey come for lunch. The decoration is simple but is not boring. The service is very attentive and gives you the feeling that you are going to have a very casual meal, kinda like, Ok, I’ll take your order and grandma in the kitchen will prepare it for you. What you are not going to expect is the level of deliciousness your food is going to have. Absolutely impressive! The taste is spot on on everything. Nothing is over seasoned or over cooked. The sauces are going to make you lick your fingers(if you use them as utensils) and the pastas are going to keep you ordering more even when you are already full. I wouldn’t say the pizza is particularly exceptional but is certainly tasty. If you are looking for a place to bring your girlfriend for dinner or lunch so she can take pictures for her Instagram posing as a foodie and impress her friends, this is not the place. Go somewhere else, pay more and pose for your pictures. If you feel like having delicious Italian food in relaxed casual environment until you actually can’t open your mouth anymore, this is your place. The reason I gave the max to the place is because this is one of those places about food and just food. There is no bragging, no in your face, no servers trying badly to speak Italian, no, this is just a pizzeria in a very ugly plaza with extremely good food.

Hialeah can throw it down– but this place makes the ground shake. Ok fine, my Dads name is Sal also but it wasn’t ONLY because of that similar attribute that he only eats pizza from here. Those garlic rolls are something out of this planet. I do like their pizza but I prefer their pasta dishes. The Lasagna is way too good. It’s like a super cheesy and saucy pasta pie covered in parm awaiting your fork. The entrees include a salad or soup. I’m not too into their salad, but the soup I like. Whatever you do, DONOTLEAVEWITHOUTTHECANOLLI! If you’re stuffed, it’s okay! This too shall pass! Take it go, and thank me later. It’s the sauce that keeps me hooked. Whenever I come to Hialeah, and I want Italian… It’s Sal’s dude. Plus my dad gets a kick out of it.

I have passed by this place a million times. Decided to try it out after reading the reviews. Ordered the baked ziti and it was good. The garlic rolls are also very tasty. My girlfriend had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and they baked it for her. Both plates were tasty but not amongst the best I have had. The service was good and fast. I will be back in the future to sample more of the menu.

Ok… My first visit was nothing short of frustrating. Lesson learned… Friday nights are a beast. But on subsequent trips, I’ve discovered that this thin sliced pizza puts ALL the franchise/commercial pizza places to shame. I love, love, love this pizza. I always order the deluxe pizza topped with cheese, onions and meat. It’s also very satisfying and although I order a medium, it takes me three to four days to eat, as each slice is so savory and flavorful, more than two slices at a time would be gluttony!

Nothing to rave about here. Don’t get me wrong you should try them, the pizza is good but not great. If I had to chose between here and Ken n Mikes in Miami Lakes, I would go with Ken n Mikes. Ordered a Blanca with half shrimp half pepperoni. Cheese was good, had all the essentials in a Blanca. Just had one issue with this. The way the cheese was distributed just wasn’t right. How can I explain this… it tasted like they threw a layer of ricotta and then a layer of mozzarella on top, instead of mixing the two cheeses together and then adding it to the pizza, does that make sense? The result was, me biting into a slice of a glop of ricotta cheese. It was just too much. I will say this, the crust was awesome! It was toasted and just the right flavor, salty and not too chewy. Texture was spot on! Ordered the wings and they were ok. Small size and good buffalo flavor, no big deal. Everything was just OK, would be back maybe if I was close by and wanted pizza. Next time I’ll go with a regular cheese pizza.

Just left Salvatore Pizzeria! I had a craving for pizza and based on the reviews, I decided to try this spot for the first time! I had two slices of pizza and a couple garlic rolls! Delicious! To make my meal even better, everyone was really nice and my waitress Perla was amazing! Very sweet and covered every last detail including offering me a to go cup for my soda and asking if I wanted her to top it off! Before leaving I went to the bathroom and when I returned to the table she had also bagged my left over garlic rolls! She left such a great impression on me, I had to submit a review! Thanks again! I will be back for sure! :)
