Long waits for services… if they promise it will be done in a few hours expect to what most of the day for your vehicle.

I came in on Friday (11÷06÷15) evening to purchase 4 new tires. This was my first time buying tires from this company. I normally buy all my tires from Sears. I have to say that I was very please with price that I got from Ronald. He was very professional and attentive to my needs. I will contiune to buy from here :-).

I seriously hate this place. Is all about selling & no customer service … I have a warranty for a battery and I can’t even borrow tools to get it out myself. Bullshit. I’ve been coming here long enough to know they can do that in less than 20 minutes. I even worked in a pepboys and I know how this works. I really regret spending so much $$ here. The so called manager «Joel». Obviously don’t care at all .

Update: I was able to get help because a very nice guy Ronald, told me to go to the parts dept. and talk to Carlos. He let me borrow some tools & ended up Heling me take the battery out and testing it for me. It just needed a re/​charge and he explained what to do … That didn’t take 1 to 1 ½ hours as I was told previously by «Joel». I was extremely upset (still am) with this man… Between Ronald & Carlos everything was taken care off in less than 30 minutes and I was on my way (tho o missed my son’s dr’s appointment anyway)… I really think someone should sit down with this so called manager and explain to him that sometimes little things go a long way … BTW I bough the tools they used. That way I already have them & know how to use them too *Thanks Carlos, good looking out*.
Frank at the register was very polite too. I would change the stars to 3 because of Ronald, Carlos & Frank… But Joel seriously messed up.

Omg I love this pep boys! My Mini Cooper broke down when I was down in Miami for business and I called freaking out, thankfully Ronald was able to calm me down, call me a tow truck and service my vehicle. Everybody was friendly and professional from the manager to the cashier. They could have charged me astronomically but what I appreciated the most was how much they tried to save me money and instructed me on how to avoid the same issues in the future. This is definitely my car spot when I’m next in Miami, I’ve never had such a good experience when I’ve been to Pep Boys in Tampa. Thanks guys!!!

Went in on ⁷⁄₂₉ for a low tire and was in and out. The guy in the front counter hooked it up with the price too. Definitely coming back to this place

Listen I had a not so long of a wait and I came back the next day to get my battery put in without a long wait time!!! I would recommend this Pep Boys to my friends and family members and co-​workers!

Unsure of why appointments are made for oil changes. Had an appointment for 11:00 and my car was not looked at until 12:15. At one point I thought all the mechanics quit, because no cars were being serviced. While I thought it was conveniently close to my job, and that it would take 1 hour at most, I was mistaken. Average service.

Went in for a simple tpms change and the technician if you would call him that did not know what the hell he was doing. Totally unprofessional.

Took my Mitsubishi Galant in for replacement of the right hemi axle. While installing the new part, the «mechanic» (I use the term loosely) punctured the transmission seal. When I told the service manager of the new problem they caused he said it was not their fault and that is sometimes happens. Interesting how he contradicted himself in one sentence. When I insisted they repair the seal, the mechanic cut the grease boot on the new hemi axle they just installed and then claimed that it also «just happens sometimes». NEVER again. I’d rather walk than have these people work my car. –100 stars is possible.

Service was fast and friendly. I was received with a smile and quoted a price instantly. Price was less than $ 100 per tire for a mid size Mazda. Did not have to wait much to get my car inside. Installation of tires was quick. Overall good service.

I recently purchased 2 tires for installation and service was outstanding. Pablo the salesman and Owen the installer worked well as a team. Ordering the tires and installing in a very efficient, courteous and professional manner, while respecting my time. Very impressive!
