I really want to like this place
Everyone in Hialeah that can read english (all 21 of us) love M&M for it’s short political poems
but
besides being a meet up spot for my friends and I before heading to the beach or the Grove back in the day, there is not much INSIDE the store to really give this more than three stars It’s a very average liqour store that’s all
What would be really cool is if one of those M’s started carrying Craft Beers There is a serious black hole of good beers in that part of Miami Dade You have a couple places in the south (Total, Stop’n’Shop, Crown) and a couple places in the North (Total again) but really no place to buy a GOOD 6-​pack in all of Hialeah, Miami Springs, Miami Lakes, Flagami, Virginia Gardens, Libirty City…

Want to get a political education while getting a buzz? You can do that in Hialeah! M & M has been serving up booze on the corner of Lejeune Road near Okeechobee since even before I could even attempt to use an ummm «enhanced» ID. It’s nothing fancy decorwise, but keeping with the principles of form following function. Imagine a concrete bunker — save for a pickup window– with 70. s looking wood paneling shelves stocked floor to ceiling with various varieties of booze in a U-​shaped plan. The two clerks that work there are quick to throw a smart remark your way, much like the political marquee on the corner outside sign. The fact they tell it like it is nets them an extra star!
