Okay, I went back and must say that I was not nearly as impressed with the Cuban sandwich as I was with the flan. True, I got it para llevar, and thus it wasn’t quite at its peak by the time I ate it. But still, the cheese was just awful — almost as if it was fake cheese that had congealed.
And it didn’t have any pickles. That’s right, no pickles! Who ever heard of a Cuban sandwich without pickles?
