Way better than the original!!! Everything taste better. Amazing arroz imperial, arroz con moros with flavor! Even the mojo that I had for the tostones was good. This branch is cleaner, service is good and food looks fresher. It doesn’t have the market(mercado) look, but I like this one better.

I never give an establishment a bad review like this, but unfortunately this place lets me down continuously. Though my incident was petty, I didn’t like how the situation was handled. I ordered coconut water and I was given coconut juice, I approach the employee several times about my order because it did not taste like coconut water. Finally, they admit it is juice and not water and they begin to argue with me that I did indeed order coconut juice and that they would not give me what I had ordered. They wanted to charge me for a new drink. Even the manager started arguing with me over a 3 dollar drink. Saying and I quote«if every time we mess up and I have to give a refund… that would be crazy!». I had customers agreeing with me and they would not budge. I wouldn’t get mad at anyone for making a mistake but they were so rude to me. In the end they gave me my coconut water reluctantly. You know it’s literally Cuba in the middle of Hialeah when you leave and they are gossiping in your face.(I’m Cuban I can say this) Rant over.

Definitely the most food for lowest price. Huge selection of meals. Everything is really good. Best meal for the best price in Miami.

Cuban food galoreeee! The portions are ridiculous, 3 people literally can eat from one meal. Super affordable & very worth. They have every cuban dish you can think of(seriously.) Anything from natural juices & shakes, pastelitos, meats, chicken, rice just everything. Omg such a good place. Only thing wrong is not enough parking or tables, but who cares lol.

The amount of food you get for the price you pay is a bargain. Definitely can have about three people eat from one completa. Food taste good everytime and I love taking a fresh watermelon juice to go. Always a good option. I always get a chicken breast with vegetables extra onions and a tamal.

This is good, fast, and super fattening food. So, although it’s a slice of heaven on earth, I would highly suggest you steer clear from becoming a habitual repeat offender.

Meh! I went here with high expectations, as it was hyped up for me. It was just a big, drawn out food court with unlimited food choices. It is pretty cheap though, and the portions are huge. You can literally buy two combo«completas» and have enough to feed an entire family of 4 – 5. We ordered the seafood paella, which was lackluster in flavor and seafood. We also got the chicken milanese, which was average. I also bought a chicken soup, and found several chicken bones, as opposed to actual chicken. My hubby wanted the pan con lechon, and that too was just average in taste. Nothing amazing, not enough crunch. I honestly would just come back for their great tasting, natural juices. That I cannot complain about. One sip of that pineapple juice, and i’m back near the ocean. I would not come back to this place again for food.

If you want some good cuban food and fast service… this is the place. The portions are very generous and the food taste great. I consider it better than many other more expensive cuban restaurants. It’s a great value. My personal favorite is the Vaca frita. I have been here many times and will continue coming back.

It’s like a museum of all the Cuban classics. Wall to wall food. Delicious food. The amount you get for the amount you pay leaves you feeling like you might’ve robbed the restaurant. Love this Miami gem!

This place rocks!!! They have a ton of variety of food for great prices compared to anywhere else. They have fresh fruit. They have shakes, juices, sodas, whatever you like. If you like sugar cane, be sure to ask for the guarapo by the half gallon, it goes down faaaaast! It’s cheaper that way too.

Let me preface by saying ive never had cuban food, I only speak English, and I wasn’t really super hungry. I walked in and there were people everywhere. Like previous reviews said, it is served cafeteria style… but there are 2 full set ups. I nearly walked out as I couldn’t figure out where to start and nobody seemed to speak any English. However, the food looked delicious. A nice female employee realized we were a little lost and got our attention… through pointing and nodding my girlfriend and I ordered what was visually appetizing. It was amazing! I think the lady helping us got a kick out of the lack of communication. .and that was ok. We should have only ordered one order of food because I will have a second carry on of Cuban food heading back to Denver with us. Till next time Miami!

Came for lunchtime Saturday and I ordered salad with a grilled chicken breast. Fresh avocados and natural pineapple juice. I liked it. My girlfriend ordered Cuban Ajiaco and she though that is was a sweet also which was not expected but anyways she liked it. The food is fresh and is good for a quick crabby food if you don’t mind grease.

This place is great if you’re on a budget and you want something quick and easy. They give HUGE portions, so I suggest you definitely share with someone. Also, they will make fun of you if you’re not a Spanish speaker and you pronounce something incorrectly. If you’re Asian, they might also think you want fried rice at a Cuban place.

There are only a select few reasons why I would venture down to Hialeah! Yes I’m from here and no I’m not ashamed of my roots and hometown. But you live and you learn! Now, El Palacio is definitely a reason to take that drive! The food is quite simple amazing! It’s home cooked, huge portions, real cuban cuisine feel good food! As soon as you walk in you are overwhelmed with the amount of food everywhere you turn. Then, yes all the Spanish speaking people skipping you in line because you look way out of place! The best dish that I absolutely have to rave about is the Pan Con Lechon. Cuban bread with pulled mojo infused pork. If you were wondering the sandwich is huge! But I will devour this thing and feel bad later! To finalize this goodness they toast it while they press it together to trap all of that flavor with the bread! Yes I will definitely go to hialeah again and again for this sandwich!

This is the place to come when you’re hungry but not sure what to eat. Everything here is yummy. I love their seafood paella. Their natural juice is only 2.50 .I wish they’d expand nationally.

Um, mango and guava juice, please. OMG, heaven. I, literally, wanted to bring back a whole entire container of the guava juice and enjoy back in the hotel. It’s TOO good here. They have so many fruit options that you won’t know what to do with yourself. After eating a delicious(and amazingly large) lechon sandwich, I decided to come back the next day for(obviously) more juice and for a steak sandwich that I was going to travel back to Chicago with. For the bf. Not me.(It survived the trip and he devoured it, btw.) I never got past the juice and sandwich counter, but saw that there was an abundance of ready made food at the other counters. There were a couple tables inside and also outside and people were happily eating and enjoying their meals. If I’m ever in Hialeah again, I’m heading straight for some mango juice! Too good, too good.

Great place for food and juice in Hialeah! It’s right across the street of Gus Machado Ford and there’s plenty of parking for everyone. The staff gives plenty of food and it’s a bargain compared to everywhere else. The boxes of food can feed two people comfortably. I would recommend coming early because it can get packed around lunch time. My only complaint is that the dining area is outrageously hot. It’s probably due to all the steam warmers, stoves, and refrigerators all over the place inside the space.
