I love this place. I was in area and Unilocaled to see what was around. Realized I had bookmarked this place so just went for it, I had 2 corquettas de casa, 1 pastelito de carne y maduro and one café con leche. Everything was soooo good. Nothing was overly seasoned it just tasted right. I have to go back and try the Nutella and Cream Cheese pastelito, since all the reviews say it’s a must.

For a while I’ve spoken to friends about a bakery/Cuban coffee spot would be a hit in this area of it was hip and relative to this generation. Bread man brings this home. The coffee is great, breakfast is a fantastic and service is wonderful. Make this your morning stop, you won’t regret it.

First visit was great! Food was delicious and not too over priced. I had a croissant with egg, ham and cheese and a ground beef with plantain pastry my only suggestion is for them to implement a number system like in old school bakeries so that people know their place in line.

Such a yummy breakfast! Traditional and modern takes on a Cuban breakfast(i.e.- egg, cheese, and chorizo on a croissant with a side of tostada and café con leche). What I really regret is not taking home some of the pastries like the Jack Daniels Mousse or the Nutella and cheese pastelito. A major plus: very friendly, bilingual staff that makes sure you are pleased with what you got. Definitely left me wanting to come back.

My sister moved recently in the area and we came across this bakery. We’ve heard of bread man before so we decided to try it out. Not only is their pastries and food amazing but so is their customer service. Anis and Lisset are awesome! Currently I went in trying to get a señorita and Anis suggested that I tried a señorita of almonds and that they had a new baker from Europe that just made a fresh batch. So I decided to try it and let me tell you it was literally the best I’ve ever had. Great find and they just gained loyal customers.

My favorite new place! So glad I found this place! Everything is delicious the service is great! They make you feel like you are apart of the family. The décor is not your typical hialeah cuban bakery which I loved!!! The only negative thing is, now that I found this place I am forced to come back all the time and try all their yummy treats and gain weight! lol

So, I’ve been here various times since my first review and I must say this place is just excellent. In my previous review I had mentioned that they forgot to give me a pastelito that I ordered and I didn’t notice until I got home. Obviously, this bummed me out. However, the owner, Andy, reached out to me and apologized for the inconvenience and promised to give me the pastelito that I had ordered the next time I go. I appreciate when owners and managers take the customers experience seriously. Next time I went, I met the owner and he gave me the nutella pastelito that wasn’t given to me from my last visit. That same day I took my bf with me so we can have breakfast here. My bf also loves this place. My bf and I had a chat with Andy, and he is such a nice guy. You can tell he loves his business and he takes it seriously. He cares about what his clients think of his bakery, and I love that. I am huge on customer service, and Breadman bakery gave me some of the best service I’ve ever experienced. Anis, at the counter, is exceptional. She always has a smile on her face, and is ready to help. She is very attentive and upbeat. I can go on and on about how great the service is here. The food is great. I’ve tried the buttercream cheesecake, breadman roll, flan cheesecake, alabao, nutella pastelito, and a few more. I am so in love with this place, my goal is to try one of every dessert that they have. lol. I highly suggest that if you’re in the area, to try this spot. You won’t regret it!!!

Bakeries are very hard to come by in Doral so Unilocal pointed me 5 miles north to the city of Hialeah. Passport? Check. Driving along the crazy way Waze guided me we found this place located on the corner of a strip mall, and a line spilling out of the business. We knew right there this place HAS to be good. The menu has it’s traditional cuban options, such as tostada, café con leche, huevos, etc. But also has some twists on hearty sandwiches like SuperMeng(yes that’s the name — hilarious but looked awesome!) We decided to go simple, tostada with ham and eggs, 4 croquettas«de la casa» café con leche and one of their nutella pastries. Wait for it… WOW. The tostada was fresh! I mean the bread tasted like it was just made, then placed in the flat press. The croquettas de la casa? Don’t even think about ordering the regular ones. Delicious and full of flavor, not like those other places where they might be frozen. The service was exceptional. I didn’t catch her name but the brunette that seemed like she ran the place was very nice and gave us much attention even with line of customers. There are so many other breads and pastries that looked so interesting so, let’s just say my passport will be getting more Hialeah stamps because I intend to keep coming!

These guys have balls: innovating with pastelitos in Hialeah? But it works. It super works. I give it a month before all bakeries are putting Nutella in their pastelitos too. Croquetas de la casa were also very good.

Love this place!!! So many things to choose from. The employee who helped me and chit chatted with me was amazing! I ordered the pan cubano con chicarrones. Croquetas, 2 nuetlla pastellitos, 1 empanada de maduro y carne, tequeños and quava filled pastellitos. Everything was fresh and delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

Delicioussssssssss! I drove about 25 minutes just to get some pastries on Sunday and it was worth the drive! The croquetas aren’t the best I’ve ever had, but then again there’s a lot of competition in Miami, but at least they’re pretty good! My favorite is their guava and cheese pastelitos, their guava is amazing– one of the best I’ve had because you can tell it’s not fake. I hope to make the drive out again soon!

So I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while now as a definite place to check out. It was a little confusing to find since their sign just says«Bakery» and I was driving through two different shopping centers in the area looking for a sign that said«Breadman.» After calling the business and asking for some help trying to locate them, it was an easy find. I can’t say I chose the best day and time to check this place out for the first time — around 6pm on a Saturday. Most of their selection of pastelitos, breads, and croquetas were almost out. Although their homemade desserts and pastries display was full and looked delicious. My boyfriend and I opted in for their Supermeng sandwich and their homemade ham and chicken croquetas(make sure to ask for the homemade ones, as they have other varieties which come frozen out of a box). We ate the croquetas as we waited for our sandwich to be made and, let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Only bummer was that the place did not have any lime for us to squeeze on the croquetas. As a Cuban, I can say this: it should almost be illegal to serve and have croquetas without lime. But, I digress. After quickly devouring the croquetas, we patiently waited another 5 minutes until our sandwich was ready. It was delicious — soft Cuban(best) bread(ever), chopped up steak, yellow American cheese, two fried eggs, and sauteed onions. Very simple, but very tasty. My boyfriend’s only complaint about(his half of) the sandwich was that his egg was overdone. However, mine was still soft and runny(lucky me!). We ate the croquetas and sandwich so quickly that we were absolutely stuffed after. Those that know me personally know about my «second» stomach which always has room for dessert. I was determined/excited to pick from their extensive display of sweetness, but I was literally overwhelmed by all the options and could not decide on one. I looked through all the Unilocal photos and their Instagram page photos to try and decide on one dessert, but I couldn’t. I was so indecisive that I decided I would make a second visit back to solely try a variety of their desserts. So with that said, I’ll be back, Breadman!

A great new little cafeteria that has all the delicious Cuban pastries and goodies I grew up with and some of my American favorites as well. The bakery is a startup so as you may well imagine, it’s still not til it full capacity.(Strive for the 5 stars!!!) the staff is friendly and quick which I need when escaping from work to go for lunch or a delightful snack. You have to try the Nutella cheesecake there! In general, I think this place will be at its full potential very soon and I’m very excited to see how it develops. Keep up the good work and please please please give bread samples so we can taste them!

The business, like bread in the oven, is almost ready. I stumbled on this bakery while searching online for a bakery at which to buy a coconut cake in the greater Miami area. I saw Andy H.‘s pictures on Unilocal and just had to visit this bakery. The first time I went was for breakfast. I had the chocolate éclair and a café con leche. Delicious éclair and delicious café con leche. The ladies at the counter were super sweet and attentive. The Saturday morning that I first went the bakery we were two of four people in there for breakfast. I ended up ordering the coconut cake I saw online with 25 pastelitos, 25 croqueticas, and 25 bocaditos preparados for a birthday celebration 10 days away. The second time I visited the bakery, Sunday at 12 pm, it was packed. I waited about 25 minutes to pick up my order. Unfortunately, there were several snafus with my order, from the original amount I was charged to not giving me my complete order, that I’ll chalk up to this business being fairly new(less than 2 months old). The business owner was very kind in giving me a refund for the overcharge, but not having bocaditos for the birthday party was disappointing because I realized this only after I got home. My bad for assuming the order would be accurate and complete. Five of the seven birthday party attendees found the cake a bit too sweet for their taste, but the birthday lady was happy. This is definitely a nice breakfast spot if you are in the area. The bakery is clean and seats 12 in the inside and about 6 in the outside. For special occasion ordering, I recommend giving this bakery about 2 – 3 months more of being in business so they iron out their ordering system. There is plenty of surface parking in the strip mall where it is located. Look for the large red«Bakery» sign from the Palmetto or from the road.

Hallelujah my prayers have been answered. Cuban pastries with a twist. Omg I was so excited I wanted to buy everything, but then I controlled myself too much and didn’t buy enough. A must have is the Pastelito de Carne con Maduros. The combination of sweet and savory in a Pastelito is heaven sent. Another Pastelito which is genius is the Nutella and Cheese. They have a Señorita filled with Oreo, a great twist on a Cuban Classic pastry. Cheesecake with Nutella and wait for it, a Cookie Butter Cheesecake. All the concoctions to make this Cuban girl very happy. Can’t wait to be back.
