AT&T Device Support Center

This is supposedly the «crème de la crème» of AT&T Technical Support, and the only alternative to being phoneless while waiting for a replacement device to be shipped to you. This was also the reason why I missed a large chunk of Cinco de Mayo celebrations. My lovely Android — while better than previous phones as far as being able to use the Unilocal app! — is still a battery drain. The support staff through the 800 number sent me here.
The location is essentially a much toned down version of the retail store — no techs in the background with lab coats, multimeters and workbenches — and décor worthy of a doctor’s office. The tech put me through a friendly interrogation, trying to get me to confess that the battery boo-​boo was my fault and that I’ll have to get a refurbished replacement of the same model of phone. That despite me showing him articles indicating to the contrary.
Still, I got a replacement phone and hoping this one is effective. Oh, and I still got to catch a little Cinco celebration!
