One star rating of this company is for dishonesty, not completing the job promised (despite being paid in advance), and sloppy work. Hired company to do post-​Hurricane Sandy cleanup of downed trees — owner also included a section of standing tree in the estimate. They neglected to cut this down, and they also left a large pile of cut tree sections unstacked. As I work from home and was on conference calls while the work was being done, I was asked to provide payment before the work had been completed (I had my reservations about doing this, but had little choice with my work schedule). Chippers promised to come back to rectify the situation but. despite four phone calls from me to schedule, was never called back and the work never completed. In my opinion. this is just one more scuzzy company taking advantage of those impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Having learned the hard way, I do not recommend their services under any circumstances.
