We specialize in residential plumbing, heating, and air conditioning sales and service.

We service most brands and models of equipment and we are an authorized dealer for York Heating and Air Conditioning products as well as Rheem and Tappan. We also offer Climatemaster geo-​thermal heat pumps.

On the plumbing side, we offer Bradford White water heaters and Navien tankless water heaters. We also offer several brands of boiers such as New Yorker, Utica, and Burnham. If high efficiency is what you want, we have Heat Transfer Products Munchkin and Elite as well as The Prestige and Excellence by Triangle Tube.

History

Established in 1997.

Don Hess spent many years working in the field for another reputable mechanical contractor and had advanced through the ranks to project manager. In 1997 a new chapter began when Don Hess Plumbing and Heating opened it’s doors primarily installing plumbing and heating systems in the new housing market. As the demand grew and the market changed the business incorporated as Hess Mechanical. We now offer a wide range of products and services incuding both installation and service.

We are certainly not afraid of technology and we perform installations and offer factory trained service on high efficiency boilers such as the Munchkin, Elite, Prestige, and Excellence. The same is true with tankess water heaters from Bosh and Navien as well as geo-​thermal heat pumps from Climatemaster.

Don’t worry though if you have need of a more conventional system. We are well versed on standard heat pumps, gas & oil furnace and boilers, as well as a basic electric water heater.
