ROCS

I worked internally at ROCS for over a year and really enjoyed my time there. The two co-​founders are great people — they truly care about their employees and have spent a lot of time creating a work environment that makes the employees look forward to coming in to work. They’re very understanding and approachable bosses, always willing to answer a question or listen to your concerns. The recruiters are very invested in their work and do whatever they can to help candidates find the perfect job. I’ve seen countless recent grads find their dream job through ROCS’ help. Overall, the company is still young but there’s a lot of opportunity for growth and upward mobility. Would definitely recommend ROCS both as an employer and as a resource to help you jump-​start your career.

I’m sure ROCS is a great company, but I did not have the best experience during the interview process when I applied for an Internal Recruiter position at the office.

ROCS has been helpful for me after I graduated from GMU. I’ve been struggling to find a job in the tech field, since I didn’t have tech experience or a tech degree! ROCS has been more than accommodating. The interview process was speedy and professional. First, it was a phone interview with Kathleen. After speaking with her, she set me up an interview and had me reply to her email to confirm. The email has all the information I needed for the interview. When I went into ROCS, I met Tom, the owner, who seemed pretty cool. The staff even recommended that if I am unhappy with the job I am placed, to let them know and they can work with me to find another position. Thanks, ROCS!

So I would recommend not wasting your time here. I got a call for a phone screen after applying online which went great. So I got to their office which is quite difficult to find and also I was worried about being towed for parking in the parking garage (and trying to even find the right parking garage). So I came in 4 minutes late and they have a «no late policy.» The man who greeted me wasn’t even the person I was supposed to meet. He claimed I was 10 minutes late because the clock they have doesn’t even list numbers. In reality I was only 4 minutes late I checked my phone right before I got to their office. So I have to come back another day after talking with my recruiter. So I get there right on time this time and guess what? They have me waiting in a meeting room for 35 minutes for my recruiter. They didn’t send anyone along to say «Hey she’s running a little late, would you like something to drink?» They have the audacity to turn me away for being 4 minutes late and she can come in 35 minutes late and act like its nothing? I highly recommend avoiding this place. They are highly unprofessional. Save your time and gas money. By the way at the time of this post most of the negative reviews are deemed «not recommended» by Unilocal but they reveal more than the positive reviews that are currently currently up.

My experience with ROCS was wonderful. I worked with them for 6 months. The process was very professional and met all my expectations. Jessica was really instrumental in making sure that my time with the company was smooth. She went above and beyond when it came to finding me a position that would fit my profile. ROCS does an excellent job of getting recent grads, college student, etc. quality work experiences. Thank you so much!

ROCS has been an excellent staffing agency to work with. They quickly set up interviews and found a perfect fit for me. All correspondence were timely and my overall experience with them has been great. I highly recommend ROCS to anyone looking for a job in the area.
