Quintessence Studio is an aesthetics practice that focuses on personalized holistic/​corrective skincare using the Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare line.

The Osmosis approach is more gentle than others as Quintessence uses a non-​acid peel. This «peel» avoids the need for recovery time, and feeds the skin what it is missing to help it normalize.

The products used are of high quality, pharmaceutical grade ingredients with a focus on the delivery of the active ingredients to the dermis. This enables remarkable results as it addresses skin concerns at their root cause.

Quintessence will work with you to ensure that the skin care regimen addresses your unique needs and wishes. A complimentary consultation immediately preceding your facial are an essential part of this process so that we work together to achieve your specific goals.

Quintessence Studio also offers highly specialized waxing services. The process is neat, clean, thorough and efficient. You can look forward to excellent long term results and, as with all Quintessence services, we shall work together to build a personal plan to maintain results.

History

Established in 2015.

Quintessence Studio came to be after practicing advanced aesthetics in Northern Virginia for more than ten years. The desire is to deliver a highly personal, individual approach in caring for a client. Let’s face it, when working with an aesthetician it is, by nature of the craft, a highly attentive/​personalized service. The practice of actively listening and engaging with the client as they voice their concerns, routines, desires and goals is honored.

Business Owner

Barbara is a highly skilled master aesthetician. She has been practicing in Herndon, VA for more than ten years, after graduating from Yvonne de Vilar Scientific Skin Care Ltd. of Vienna, Virginia in 2005. Barbara believes in staying current within her focus of aesthetics and attends classes/​conferences to maintain a fresh approach. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee. As well as a Master’s degree from Texas A & M University. Her background is in the sciences. Her passion has always been results oriented corrective skin care/​waxing, client education and their overall wellness. Barbara has been a practicing master aesthetician at two different spas, in the town of Herndon, before starting Quintessence Studio.
