Came here to get a Vietnamese coffee only — togo. They made it fresh on the spot, but I think the Phở place in Clocktower makes a better coffee.

I’m not sure what happened to this place. My friends and I used to come here all the time long time ago. I returned here today after a long long time and the food is horrible. I’m not sure if they changed the owner, chef, or what but it is awful. The service is awful and phở tastes horrible. I would not recommend anyone to come here again. :(

Following receiving his diver’s license, my 17 year old son and husband went to Phở 2000 for dinner at about 9 pm at night. My son had Phở soup with Brisket and brought the leftovers home to me. When I drank the broth I was stunned! Not only was it tasteless, I’m convinced that they ran out of broth, and instead of declining to serve it, they substituted hot water!!! I consider myself a good cook and I can tell broth from water even if I am not Vietnamese. I’ve seen many good reviews of this restaurant, and we have eaten there before, but to serve and charge customers something as poor quality as my son received was and is a sham. We will never go there again.

Worst Phở I’ve ever had. Tried it twice and def is terrible. As much as I’d like to enjoy it because of the location, it is just bad. Don’t like the Phở, don’t like the place and don’t like the sloppy guy walking around who works there.

I thought this place was pretty awesome. I stayed in the Marriott, and all the restaurants were super convenient. The phở was delicious, despite what some of the other reviews said. I had the phở one night, and the vermicelli bowl another night, and both were awesome. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely stop back!

Crispy noodles tasted bleh. The seasonings were off. Phở was bleh too. Tasted too plain. Would never come bk

Mediocre phở, very few clients which should have been my cue. The only advantage it is in easy walking distance to the Marriott Suites.

Chicken phở was one of the best around the area. Staff was friendly. Only giving them a four because I have not tried their other dishes.

We were there last Friday, we always came this place for lunch about 3 times a week. I don’t know who post the cockroach picture on Unilocal, however, I don’t think it was true. The restaurant is clean, food are good and the service are super. I am highly recommand this place to go get vietnamese food in herndon. They also had good dishes for vegetarian and special Vietnamese pancake. We don’t need to go to Eden falls church for the pancake anymore. LOVE it…

Came in here for the Phở nothing out of the ordinary, the broth is slightly better then phở new down the street. However, I gave this place two stars because of the atmosphere. The owners sits by the table in the front and bad mouths the customers in Vietnamese. Often the conversations are judge mental and down right rude. The owners husband often walks around with his shirt lifted up to where his belly hangs out. I felt very uncomfortable eating here and will not return.

No, no, no… just no. Now. I’m not a picky phở eater even though I’m Vietnamese. It’s usually pretty hard to mess it up for me, but unfortunately Phở 2000 gave me one of my few poor Viet soup experiences. I probably would’ve never visited this place to be honest, but my car broke down in the World Gate shopping plaza and I was stranded there for about 4 hours. I was craving some soup to I guess calm me down from the hectic morning. My mom and I walked into Phở 2000 and it was pretty much dead. There were 2 kids and 1 teenager sitting at a table watching tv and eating. The teenager had to go grab her mom in order to serve us. I went with the Bun Bo Hue and my mom got the Phở Dac Biet. First error: They brought out the phở supplements(bean sprouts, mint, jalapenos, etc.) only and expected me to use that for the Bun Bo Hue. When I asked if they had the toppings for Bun Bo Hue, such as red cabbage, they brought out a plate of shredded lettuce. –___– This establishment is ran by Vietnamese people! HOWWW?! Second error: My mom’s Phở Dac Biet was a Phở Tai Chin. She called the waiter over and mentioned how her phở was lacking all the additional ingredients in dac biet. He basically told her no… it was all in there. Then she proceeded to show him that there were only brisket and round eye steak pieces. So then he brought out a small serving of bo vien. Still not a bowl of phở dac biet! By that time we were already frustrated, so we said no more. It would okay if the broth made up for those errors, but the broth of the bun bo hue lacked spice and both broths lacked flavor. Skip this place… there are plenty of better phở restaurants in the area. I’m only giving this place two stars because the lady that took our order was nice.

It was my first experience with Phở and I enjoyed it. The broth of the phở was really good. The wait staff good as well.

the food is great. Ive been to Vietnam and this is as close as it gets to real vietnamese food. The other places on centerville road are really not any close to this one in terms of quality. We had soups both with steak and noodles, which was great. While some other places have a wierd after taste, this one is really good and fresh. Their Café Sua-da is pretty good too. If you’ve never had one, this is a good place to try it! The service is fast, a bit pushy to have you order additional items and not very smily, but very efficient. the value for money is great! definitely recommended.

Not the greatest phở spot. Broth was very bland. Phở 75 down the street is much better

I had beef and broccoli… honestly the best version of this dish I ever had… plus a scoop of EGGNOODLE W /ROAST QUAIL(MICHIMCUTROTI). That was pretty good as well wished I had more. This was my 1st time trying a Vietnamese dish. I would come back again.. wasn’t impressed with the layout though it needs redecorating

I went to PHO2000 on a very cold and snowy day. The food is amazing. I had the Viertnamese Spring Rolls. They were amazing!!! very crunchy and fresh out of the fryers. I also had the PHO(Beef) and it hit the spot. Everything you expect pit of the authentic vietnamese soup. When i am back in town; I will definitely come back. The only bad thing was the wait staff. two guys who were cooking and everything else. So they were lacking a bit but not that bad. They need to hire a waitress!!!

Came here with a few of my girlfriends since we were in the area. Wrong decision made. We all ordered the phở with everything in it, since it seems to be the only option that or chicken phở, fresh garden rolls and crispy spring rolls. The fresh garden rolls came out within five minutes and did not taste fresh at all. The roll was mainly vermicelli noodles with 3 halves of shrimp and lettuce. The peanut sauce was extremely watery and had no flavor whats so all. Then 10 minutes later the crispy spring rolls came out which was surprisingly tasty. We all got our phở within a 15 minutes of being at the place. Before I started seasoning I tasted the broth. which was bland. I had to put in a lot of hoisin & sriracha sauce and lime to put into the soup to make the soup to my taste buds. We had to wave down the waiter to get more limes which took a good 5 minutes to do. Overall the meal was cheap but not at all good. Service was poor.

Great food. Pork chop on rice is not on the menu, but that’s what I always get. It hit the spot. I see they serve Café Du Monde coffee so the quality is there! Yes in my books! Enjoy.

My wife and I have eaten here pretty much every Sunday for 9 months. We also love all things Phở. Food: This place is ok. Some weeks the broth is great and the portion sizes are comparable to other phở joints, other weeks the food is completely off. It’s truly hit or miss — but when it’s good, it’s good! Service/Atmosphere: Don’t expect much. It’s a simple get in, get out food joint. The food is hot and fast, and that’s good enough for me. I wouldn’t bring out of town guests here with the expectation of hanging out for an evening of catching up. Overall, good phở joint if you’re not willing to drive to Falls Church for Phở Sate or Golden Cow. One of the better options in Herndon/Reston.
