Herndon’s hidden gem! Great BBQ and sides, which by the way are ALL homemade. So, to the individual who suggested the slaw was purchased, I can assure it it was not. (although the plastic in the food is concerning!).
But, I’ve never had any issue and have always been a fan. The owner and staff are awesome. It’s just a nice, local, homey kind of place. Even if you don’t golf, it’s fun to go over there, grab a sandwich and chill on the patio watching the golfers play.

there BBQ is definately award winning, friendly staff, always clean. Prices are very reasonable.
Great place to bring a family

Awesome beef brisket and pork barbecue. My friend always wants to play at Herndon Centennial Golf Course when he is in town from Rochester, NY. YUMMMY.

The first couple of times I came here for the BBQ pork sandwich I was delighted as it was so tasty… and I decided the best BBQ in the area. That was last year. On my first visit this year, last month, I was very disappointed. There was way too much grisly meat in my sandwich. The meat was served from a big pan that was sitting uncovered on the stove just simmering for who knows how long. It tasted old and was soaking in grease… and on top of it… the coleslaw that it came with gave me a surprise… I bit down on something hard and then pulled the plastic tab that was from where ever the purchased the pre-​made coleslaw… like the tabs you find on a loaf of bread!!! That was in my serving of slaw. I can no longer recommend this place.
