When I walked in… Lady: May I help you? Me: Manicure please Lady: Do you have an appointment? Me: Nope Lady:(silent and pissed off face) Me:(WTF?) Lady: Please pick a color Me:(That’s right you better Bia… just kidding) — — — — — — — — - She assigned me to a Nail Tech with glasses who was very nice and quiet. I asked her if they only take customers by appointments. She replied, «yes». I apologized and I told her that I will make an appointment next time. She was very detailed and patient even though there were customers waiting. She took her time in cleaning my nails and removing my cuticles. I will definitely come back to this place for a second try out. Overall the service was not too bad. p. s. You can pay the bill on a credit card but they only accept tips in cash.

For most people the month of April is a favorite month — the cherry blossoms will bloom, the dogwoods and azaleas are out, spring is in the air and the promise of summer looms ahead. The baseball season is in full swing, the Masters will be played, you can start to eat lunch outside regularly… people everywhere are happy. However, for the hardworking nail technicians of Jennie’s salon in Herndon, the month of April is one of which they live in fear. They dread coming to work during that month, because they know, on one of those otherwise fine April days, I will walk in for my annual pre-summer-get –ready-for –the-beach-pedicure. Seriously — they are lovely in here and they do great work — but God help the poor technicians who have to deal with my feet — but man — they way I feel when I walk out — it’s tremendous — I might start doing pedicures more often.
