I was trying to think of one redeeming quality about my several visits to Hettler & May, and I decided that the Doctor was very communicative and pleasant. Otherwise, I would say that my transaction with this establishment is the WORST experience that I have every had in a retail business. They did bother with the details of my insurance plan and upgraded my lens because«they didn’t know that the standard progressive where covered on the plan». So you sell me, out of my pocket a more expensive lens without telling me. Thanks for looking out for me. Of course, because they didn’t bother with the details of my insurance they overcharged me by $ 153.00 which I have yet to receive back because«they needed a code from the manager». That was 2 weeks ago and I have yet to get my money back that they agreed they owed me. So…next we pick up the glasses, after waiting 10 days, still no credit, and the lens pops out 30 minutes later. Back to the store, Oh! they can’t fix it, they have to ship them back the manufacturer. And yet another 5 days passes, still no credit, but I do have glasses. SAVE the effort go anywhere else.
