History

Established in 1958.

Located in the heart of Herndon along the WO&D Hike and Bike trail, Herndon Florist has been a presence in the heart of Herndon for over 50 Years.

Once located in the lobby of the Old Hotel, the florist became a must stop shop for busy commuters and tourists arriving in this once famed vacation spot. Under the current ownership for 35 years, the store has continued to serve the booming western Fairfax and Loudoun County areas with unexcelled customer service.

Herndon Florist has won the «Peoples Choice Award», been nominated as «Business of the Year» by the Dulles-​Herndon Chamber of Commerce and has been consistently in the top 1000 Shops Nationally for Teleflora.

Our designers have studied in Holland and California, learning from the best, the latest in European hand-​tied design and Contemporary West Coast Design. We are members of Teleflora, the Society of American Florists and The American Florists Marketing Council.

I have owned and operated Herndon Florist since 1975. I am a floral designer trained both in the US and Europe in all phases of floral and event design. I am a member of the Society of American Florists and The National Society of Event Professionals. I am a certified Wedding Consultant, with over 35 years of experience with Special Events.
