Brian D.

Business Owner

Brian Downs, President of Downs & Associates, Inc., has been in the insurance industry specializing in commercial insurance for 20 years. His niche markets include remodeling contractors, trade contractors, photo developing labs, retail, real estate and professional service companies. Holding a Property & Casualty license, as well as a Life & Health license in VA, MD, DC, PA, NC & WV, he is able to consolidate & refine the insurance portfolio of his clients in a unique way.

Brian earned his CRA through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), his LUTC & CRIS designations. Brian has been a member & served the DC Metro Chapter of NARI for well over a decade in various capacities including Membership Chair, Director from 1999 — 2002, President in 2003 and Chairman of the Board in 2004. He belongs to the Central VA & Mid-​Maryland chapters, as well. He has also been the President & Chairman of the Board of the NOVA Coffeehouse & currently serves as President of RHCCA.
