I only gave them a 1-​star because I couldn’t submit this review without «rating this business» in stars.
?? ? How can I give this company a –10 STARS? ? ?
They took my money and never ordered the Maxtrix furniture for my 3 year old grand daughter. I checked with the factory and even after inquiring over-​and-​over with the factory, Dinettes & Stools (D&S) NEVER PLACED THE ORDER ! ! ! ! ! !
And, they wouldn’t return our telephone calls.
The salesman even helped my grand daughter pick out all the pieces she wanted, knowing all the time that he was not going to place the order.
The factory said that they had many complaints about D&S and had cut them off has a dealer — a long time before D&S took my money for an order.
Don’t waste your money & time here — go to another dealer. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEARTACHE !

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased my daughter’s bed. I was tricked by the location to my house (this place has since moved to Chantilly but I felt the need to post under both addresses), the seeming knowledge of Alan, the manager, and the quality of the bed. I purchased a great children’s bed at a substantial price, the beginning of December. I was told four to six weeks. It is coming up on March and I still don’t have the bed eleven weeks later. I would have been okay with a delay in the delivery, if anyone had bothered to keep up with me to tell me that there was a backorder. Instead, I started calling at the six week mark– each time I call, no one remembers who I am (there are two people that work there– the owner and the manager) and I get a different explanation for the delay. I went in to cancel the order after eleven weeks of waiting, and I was rudely and aggressively told by the owner, Andrew, that no refunds are given and that I had to wait like everyone else. Then he walked away. I have been told that the bed manufacturer is unresponsive, that it has moved locations, that parts were missing causing the delay, that they would call the manufacturer owner to follow up with me, that it was definitely on the next shipment. Now that I read the reviews here and on google, I am right to doubt all of it. No attempt has been made to make me feel like I gave my money to anyone but a jerk. Now I don’t know whether to wait another week for a bed that probably won’t show or to contact my credit card and issue a fraud investigation. The part that sucks the most is the way the owner treated me directly to my face, in the store, in front of my toddler. I find it unreal to imagine that a small business, located next to a Kmart, who sells beds that range from $ 700 to $ 3000, can afford to give up on their customers. No discount was offered, no delivery charged waived, no phone call to track the shipment. After the owner left me standing there, the manager gave me a gift card toward a future purchase, after pregnant and holding my toddler, I started to cry in the store. The bed may be awesome, but so is a Little Tikes race car bed, that will cost you $ 1100 less.

I read all the dreadful reviews on this site so I went there without any intention to buy. I just wanted to compare their price to the one I had been given elsewhere. They came up at the exact same price so I started chatting with the sales guy (Allen) and explain that at the same price, I will go with the store with better reviews. He knocked down $ 500 and asked me to post a review if I were happy. I agreed. (too good to pass up!). He said that I would get my furniture in 6 – 8 weeks but I only had to wait 4. The delivery service was top notch and the delivery crew was very polite and helpful. I would definetely consider buying with them again. I was nicely surprised and receive exceptional service.

Awful. Spent $ 2800, ordered a kitchen table and chairs in Mid-​November. It’s now the end of February and they can’t even tell me when to expect my furniture. They told me 8 – 10 weeks and I’m almost at the 14 week at this point. The owner is extremely rude. I said I wanted my money back since they are over 5 weeks late, and he kind of laughed and said in a sarcastic tone, «sorry, read the contract that you signed». Would not recommend whatsoever. Do your homework and look up the reviews on this place before you buy anything… they’re all negative. Wish I had done that before I dropped 3k.
